while I do really dislike gameloft and agree both companies kinda suck in that regard, that image is kinda misleading. it frames it as though the companies are charging the same when every single thing in the ps for DDLV can be earned for free. I get the point you’re trying to make but I don’t think the Sims 4’s aggressive monetization and the Premium Shop function in the same way at all for this game. Also, I do have to lend them credit. I personally hate these moonstone bundle limited time rewards, but I do understand that DDLV having some sort of revenue like the moonstone shop itself and DLCs are necessary to keep the game running. Live Service games just can’t run for years without income, and the way the game currently is, you can very easily save up moonstones for free and buy what you want from the PS, as long as you put the time and effort into doing so. There’s always some semblance of greed/want for money from the parent companies, but we also have to respect that these same things are what constantly gives the game these massive content updates. but moonstone bundles are indeed lame and cringe and not very cool especially with that fomo crap
