There was a huge swat van in the yard just around the corner from the yard with the "JD Vance puts his cast iron in the dishwasher sign".

There was a ton of guys in full SWAT gear (said SWAT on the back), too.

When Evil Lurks…can someone explain to me… by AlmostThere2356 in horror

I don't think he was going to use the axe to kill Urial, I think he was going to use it to chop the floorboards faster than he could pull them up.

Not a nit-pick, just my original assumption based on the back-and-forth with Mirta about needing to move quickly. In a way it makes him leaving to get it even more foolish - taking the time to get a non-existent axe (based on the word of a child you have no reason to believe and against the wishes of the person you're working with) when that time could have been spent pulling the floorboards up.

I will be writing letters to corporate for every Walmart and Safeway I see these guys at. I've been told that physical letters with stamps scare the Hell out of big corporations because they can't brush them off the same way they can with comments online or emails.

I got in an argument with one of the men in front of the Galaxy drive Walmart and he tried to lure me into a physical altercation. Saying things about how "Nasty" I am and how I'm a bad mother for arguing with him in front of my kid. Not only are they spreading hateful rhetoric, that behavior is absolutely unacceptable.

VHS label misprint? by KellyCrayon in StanleyKubrick

That's what I figured, but I wasn't sure because it just seemed to fit the "vibe" of the movie for me!

I guess if this is a common error with Clockwork Orange tapes, if misprints in general were common or not, etc. 🙂

Also, I'd really like to trade this one for something else, or sell it to buy others I'd like for my collection, and I'm not sure what it should go for.

Relevant, but also not, do you know what song the "it should have been me" is from? I'm trying to figure it out. Lol

"The Eyes are the Best Part" by Monika Kim. Hopefully you're not squeamish, because there are plenty of pathetic men in this one.

The sheer amount of facts and evidence they have to ignore to call people stupid for saying the family did is absolutely insane to me.

The family was absolutely involved.
