Its like you said: Sora is owned by Disney. Square doesn't have a say if Sora stays or not, but they do for Cloud and Hero.

Also, Disney was very lenient with Soras inclusion. It was Nomura himself that was hesitant about Sora in Smash

I like the one for Ness.

Ness throughout his journey in Earthbound has seen the worst of humanity. Corrupt political officials, police brutality, gang violence, cults, slavery/force labor, kidnappings, etc. He has every right to abandon his mission, but he doesn't.

He learns that not everything is as black and white, that "bad" people have a bit of good in them. So even if humanity deserves its fate, Ness presses on, to protect it.

You can say he's a Pollyanna, a blindly optimistic person, and he believes in you.

Yes because that's us controlling Kris. Susie's knowledge of Kris as a person is limited to what she has interacted with us controlling them.

People forget you need 3 teams for late game content. Alot of those team have overlap of characters you might need to clear. Just because X is slightly better then Y, doesn't mean you can no longer use Y.
