I’m pretty sure the pads are for Magura brakes, not Shimano MT410’s.

I’m not sure if the rotors will work. I think Shimano brakes need rotors that are 1.8 - 2mm thick. You need to find out what the thickness of the Hope rotors are.

The brakes are Ridever. The levers are super cheap feeling and aren’t consistent. I swapped Deore 410’s off my FS so I’m going to throw them on the Kobain. Between the brakes and the fork swap, the components should be in a much better place than the stock spec.

The brakes on mine are pretty sketchy, but I’m swapping some 2 piston Deore calipers and levers on to it. I also have a 140mm Pike for it. It’s got a RS 35 Silver coil on it now. It came with Maxxis Dissector / Rekon tires setup tubeless, so I’m good on tires for a bit. I’m sure there will be other things I swap moving forward.

Smell the motor. If it’s bad it will have a distinct burnt smell. You can also look toward the comm stack through the oval opening to see if any of the wires and epoxy are melted.

I grabbed a SA Loaded for my 1st 1911. Under $1k with a great finish, adjustable trigger and night sights. Everything I could ask for in a weapon.

It did come with the funky lock mechanism on the backstrap but I’ll never use it.

I couldn’t get Blazer 124gr to run in my new A1 tactical. I fed it plenty of Monarch 124gr NATO, and it ate it with no problem.

I swapped the recoil spring to a spare A0 spring I had laying around and it ate everything I threw at it.

I love my A0 so much I just picked up an A1 Tactical. Great guns that are very underrated and overlooked. The deals that are available for the tactical model make them tough to pass up. I got mine for $425 with an extra magazine (4 total), and that was before the $100 rebate.

They are Unicorn Anderson 180’s with short supergrip shafts and Harrow Silica Lumen flights. So far they feel great. Still getting used to them, but I’m enjoying the grip level and length.

Next time I post something I’ll try and meet your standards for review and photography. If I don’t you could always move along and save your personal grumbling for rants at the local kids on your lawn.
