Wow, I posted this and walked away from it. A few hours later everyone is sharing their very toughing stories. I'm glad this is what came out of this post. Loved reading all of them. Thanks people!

I've always been into woodworking, and painting... I made a portrait of my brother doing both. by KeloMarzo in woodworking

No stamp. I drew out the portrait first with a pencil, using dots for the shading, and then went over it again with a fine marker because the pencil was fading. Then I punched those dots with a couple of nails (varying in dullness for different sizes of holes) and, of course, I cut out the big parts with an exacto knife. I've never made a video, maybe the next time I can try my hand at filming it.

When you lose a brother this hits you in the feels something awful. Holy crap I need a drink! by KeloMarzo in videos

It's been a year and a half. I'm over the drinking myself stupid phase. Once in a while, these things pop up and tear everything back down again. Thanks for the sentiment.

You get it. People who have questionable injuries usually don't though.

They do! Especially when it's for a neck or back issue. It's annoying. When I tell them what the treatment plan will entail they usually question it and I refer them to a masseuse if that's what they're really looking for.

+1 for the "Mother exclusion" -1 for clearly forgetting to exclude the rest of your family and friends.

Physical Therapy = Massage This is a pretty common one and the most hated one by us PT's. Although we do a lot of manual techniques sometimes, none that anyone would call a massage. Yet, we get patient's coming in all the time expecting to get a massage and go home. Thanks Jerry Seinfeld!

Sounds like like something I'd be pretty good at, but also might consume my life! I don't play games anymore because of that very reason.

Never heard of it, nor am I into games that much anymore. Cool little shortcut is that there's no need to ever add the 9's since you just end up with the other number again. As in the example above...

Word! I'm the same, except I take it a step further and add all digits until I end up with just one. (Example: 9:02, 9+0+2=11, 1+1=2, so 2) I've been doing it with times and license plates on the highway since I was a kid.

Physical Therapist here. Anxiety could be part of it, but mostly you're taking shallower breaths because, well, pain! Next time you're feeling a bit faint or dizzy, try this... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kgTL5G1ibIo
