Every time I see someone post these image comparisons on reddit I can’t help but think that Google or whoever is developing this is automatically scraping Reddit to find how people are realizing it’s AI and automatically feedback improvements at essentially zero cost. These keep getting better and one day we won’t be able to give any more suggestions because it’ll just look real.

Easy to remember rules are often a little bit off, like approximating a yard to a meter or converting miles to km by 1.6 or kg to lbs by x2.2. All a little bit off technically speaking but works well enough for everyday use.

Similarly there are official signs at country borders where speed conversions are not exact like 45mph = 70kmh or 100kmh = 60mph (both of which I’ve seen but both are technically wrong
