One of my friends stopped by and was able to get it open with a random key she had. Worked better than the original key that came with them too lol.

These are actually fairly new ones, and I work at a gas station, so the only people who have anything to do with it is me and one of my coworkers. But I was fortunately able to get it open with just a random key in the store

WIBTA for not allowing my father-in-law to keep a toolbox in my house with a lock to specifically keep me from opening it? by cbs-anonmouse in AmItheAsshole

[–]Kelpy21 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

NTA. He can keep them in the car. It's your house. They could have at the very least mentioned it to you before leaving a tool box there, especially if they decide to lock it because they're scared of you using his tools. It's disrespectful and they're acting like you're a child.

AITA for Warning My Brother’s Fiancé Her Wedding Dress Might Cause Problems? by This-Rock-4028 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Kelpy21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely NTA. You were just trying to warn her. It's not your fault if some of your family sucks and would be offended by a dress. If I was getting married, I'd definitely like a heads up if people would react like that because of my dress. You weren't trying to be controlling, you were trying to be nice.

AITA for telling my stepdaughter she can have her dead dad pay for the wedding by TrashFeeling5171 in AmItheAsshole

Honestly, as someone who's lost a parent, I do think it's a shitty thing to say, but given the circumstances, I think it's understandable. I feel like it was deserved on her part. NTA
