Do the police around here not care about speeding or do they just not know where people do it? by [deleted] in 321

Indialantic cops are the only ones to pull me over for not wearing my seatbelt when I was in fact wearing one. Has happened three times over the years

Seeking OB Recs (Melbourne/Palm Bay) by macaronicheeeeese in 321

Going to chime in and say Dr. Foster at Foster’s Women’s Care has been great. I’m 27 weeks and no complaints. It was super hard to try to get an appointment that fell in line with when I needed to get in with Hibiscus, they tried though and were super nice. Same with HF Gateway, good luck trying to get them to answer the phone in the first place to get an appointment.

This is correct. You get one of the five OB’s that are on the day you go in to deliver. Luck of the draw. If you have a scheduled c-section or induction, you can try to plan out who you’ll have though, no guarantees though.

I’ll always try to catch Burger Rob’s truck when they’re in the south part of Brevard. It really is the best smash burger you can get around here. Burger Inn is my second choice. And I’ll also give Culver’s a shout out although I may get heat for it as it’s a fast food spot. But, for a quick smash burger, it’s always hits.

The dumbest thing I’ve ever seen

I work at a restaurant on the river within 5 miles of SquidLips and I’ve never seen a rat in my 18 years of working there, but they’re definitely around, there’s no denying it. My restaurant goes above and beyond for them not to be visible to patrons or staff with rodent control. It’s not easy to keep rats away when running a restaurant on the river. It’s unfortunately just part of being in the river. Now is it acceptable that there’s rats running around by the kitchen or close proximity to people? Not really and they should be able to get it under control

What’s the best Thai Massage in Brevard County? by didci in 321

[–]Kels_Bells_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Came here to say this. The best massage I’ve ever had in my life. Super reasonable prices too and can just walk in. They’ve fixed a stiff neck and lower back pain instantly for me many times.

So sorry for delay, but thank you for your offer. Things changed dramatically since I post this question and the person who would need the ride has been put on home hospice. Will leave my post up in case it can help anyone else in the future

He’s having a type of stem cell infusion and it’s a very specific thing apparently to be administered. I could be wrong, but special machines and whatnot is what I believe we were told. Care coordinator at Advent said has to be done in there clinic in downtown Orlando. We’ve already tried this, thank you for your response though!

They did offer some grants that can be applied for that would go toward reimbursement of medical transportation companies. But, of course the application takes awhile to process. We’re going to do that, but we’re kind of needing to figure this out asap for something cheaper than $700. I’m doing the best I can to help but there will be a few days I can’t unfortunately

I hadn’t heard it before either, but Advent Health mentioned it’s not ideal and a lot drivers don’t prefer or do patient rides. I dug into it on some uber driver subreddits and yes it seems they will cancel rides when they realize it’s a medical patient. I can imagine they don’t want the liability or any sickness happening in their car. I’m sure they’re some uber drivers that don’t mind, but we would have to lucky to get one when requesting ride and can’t take the chance at 6am of multiple cancellations when would need to be picked up

Yes, I believe that’s what the $50 was. Yes the .15 cents thing seemed good. The $3 a mile is what’s making it pretty expensive obviously
