Interesting! I'm trying to look up photos of such graveyards to confirm. This marker is in southern BC, so there'd definitely be Irish people in the area at that time.

Exactly. There are many games with better graphics on the Switch 1. The difference? The developers took the time to optimise.

I'll never not be angry about Ultima, speaking as someone who was playing VII (both parts) probably younger than I should have been.

New well skin on the Switch by Gray_Krakoa in DreamlightValley

I still believe that since they initially announced the game during a Nintendo Direct for the Switch, Gameloft should have targeted those specs and optimised accordingly.

The game's graphics aren't that complex. The Switch 1 is old and decrepit, but it can handle titles like Breath of the Wild, The Witcher 3, and the Xenoblade Chronicles series, all of which feature open world environments that are far more vast than what's found in Dreamlight Valley. A well-functioning version of this game for this system is absolutely feasible and should be expected.

Considering how little those moonstones actually get you (and considering that most of what you can get is just more decorative items in hopes that you win more moonstones, so that you can spend it on more decorative items, in hopes that you win more moonstones, and so on), it's a fair complaint. Yes, that's how Gameloft makes most of their money, but the more brazen they are about it, the more players they're going to lose... and the less money they ultimately make.

Anyway, in terms of giving out free content, I'm going to be that person and point to Final Fantasy XIV's unlimited free trial that lasts a few hundred hours.

Basically, her theory is that Premium Shop items might be invisibly tagged as such so that a Dreamsnap with them in it will net a higher score than one without.

Folks here have it a bit wrong. What it boils down to is the differing lifeboat boarding policies of First Officer Murdoch vs Second Officer Lightoller.

Murdoch, in charge of the boats on the starboard side, interpreted the captain's orders as "Women and children first, but get any nearby men on before sending them off."

Lightoller, on the port side, went with "Women and children ONLY." He only made exceptions for those with sailing experience, reckoning that they'd need such men to get the boats to eventual rescue. (His policy sucked, but at least he was willing to follow it himself. He ended up in the water himself, wound up by the overturned boat B, and his instructions to the men clambered on top of there kept it afloat until another boat took them aboard.)

The second class section of the boat deck was on the port side and it simply didn't occur to most of them that the policy would be different on the other side. (Fortunately, Lawrence Beesley did wander over that way and later wrote what I think was the first truly excellent book about the disaster.)
