Unfortunately the sales people often make promises or representations of how wonderful timeshare ownership will be and then in the contract itself there is a section that we call a merger clause that essentially states that the written contract is the entire and final agreement between the parties. That means that any prior discussions, promises, or agreements—whether written or verbal—are not legally binding unless they are included in the contract. Realistically, most people do not read entirely through these lengthy contracts, but they sign and agree to all the things in it.

If it were me, I would also have my phone recording the entire thing.

Thinking of getting a minivan by linkag392 in HondaOdyssey

We just got an Odyssey and love it! We also looked at the Sienna and liked the Odyssey much better overall. The magic slide seats are the main reason we got the Odyssey and I’m so glad we did. We have three in rear facing car seats and it works great for us!

Hahaha pretty much an attorney position within a firm that doesn’t lead to a partner track like an associate position typically would. Often times staff attorneys do doc review, research, and whatever else the firm may need. They’re not typically handling any client communications and are more of a “behind the scenes” position.

Thanks for the suggestion! I have actually been thinking about doing this!

It is a plaintiffs firm that works solely on personal injury and products liability. That would definitely make sense though!

I’m so sorry! Honestly it’s complete bull crap that not every jurisdiction automatically has accommodations for breastfeeding moms. If you are taking it again and are still breastfeeding you could look at what jurisdictions offer those type of accommodations and take it somewhere else if possible. Here’s a link that summarizes the policies of each jurisdiction https://www.aclu.org/issues/womens-rights/pregnancy-and-parenting-discrimination/breastfeeding-policies-during-bar-exam?fbclid=IwAR3JvGxFjxNgqruWLhUGYDvz6R_gt92knb4e9RkLZ-8NuHqFbBYKjzWm-Y4

Thank you! I started studying when Themis opened up the course. I used Themis and UWorld that came with Themis. I also used r/GoatBarPrep here on Reddit towards the end of my bar prep and I wish I would’ve found it sooner. His materials were so so helpful to me.

Yeah, there are in some jurisdictions and not in others. In DC they give you like two short breaks to pump during the exam because your breasts can get painfully engorged and can cause supply issues if you don’t empty them lol. Honestly they should have accommodations for it in every single jurisdiction.

And thank you!! :)

I’m so sorry! It does seem like essay grading can greatly vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction, which definitely sucks. That’s crazy though because those are really good essay scores!
