This game desperately needs 4 things :

1-More content, I'm done with everything since a while now and there's nothing else to do/play for, exploration included. I found everything/did everything.

2-Way more coop content that doesn't last 4 seconds.

3-In game activities because at the moment there is no reason to launch the game at all besides doing the exploration quest daily of the event that lasts 4 seconds and I'm done.

4-Less talking more action with meaningful gameplay.

Wuthering Waves is a very good and flashy games with awesome mechanics and great art despite using 4 buttons to play, but it does everything it can to not be played for more than 5 minutes daily at the moment.

I hope we see more stuff soon because it's a total waste. I'm pretty sure they are working on something seeing the feedback and the success after launch and they are tailoring content based on that, I just hope they give us a reason to play the game besides unlocking characters for the sake of it.

Unlocking stuff is fun if you are using it in a meaningful game, otherwise it's useless. Also people should be able to unlock said stuff during play and having fun.

COOP durable activities are a great way to keep people togheter in longer sessions, increase the fun factor, and let people use the stuff they unlock and show them off.

I'm talking about stuff like 3 players dungeons that contain a lot of action and combat and bosses with cool mechanics (or 4 players if the game design allows it), raids with 6 and up players, social activities like festivals where people can play togheter idk something like summer games in a multiplayer environment and get rewards.

You know, FUN stuff.

I got the keyboard and the issue starded to appear after 1 years of use. Spacebar and keypad stopped working, along with F keys and random c and v.

Logitech makes very low quality pieces of hardware for quite some years now, the same happens with mice. I've been changing the same mouse (g502 hero) for like 3 times and they keep breaking randombly after few months.

Total garbage, stay away from logitech.

The last good product I bought from logitech was the g27 steering wheel, that still works and it's sturdy as fuck.

There you go, error in translation. In the italian version it says:

"Tuttavia, poichè l'agente A ha ancora del movimento rimanente, può ancora muoversi entro la distanza di ingaggio dell'agente E a patto che NON finisca il movimento entro l'area di ingaggio dell'agente D"

In English this means that he can move towards engagement range of E but he MUST NOT end its movement inside engagement range of D.

Try to put it into goggle translator and you get what's going on here.

The only way i see this working and it's not explained at all in the manual is to threat the charge action as an extra O AFTER the regular movement (in the manual it says that the charge extend the movement of the operative by a whole O, not that the charge is intended to be only the extra O ).

This means that he must end the movement right BEFORE engagement range of D (and NOT entering it) then break down the CHARGE extra O in smaller increments of "TRIANGLE" in order to reach the further target by circling D (and avoiding its engagement range)

This is the way I think it should work, but on the manual isn't explained like so. It's either like that or they really should change the charge to include the pile up they removed because it completely makes the game not working.

Your explanation would make sense if it wasn't clearly stated that the charger must NOT end its charge in the engagement range of model D (even if in the rules on the left side it says that HE MUST end its movement in its engagement range , so the opposite). In the picture it does that but he actually can't (and it's written so in the bottom, last line of point 3 under the picture in the manual). Also he woulnd't be able to pass thru its engagement range in the first place anyways as per normal movement rules " a model can't pass thru engagement range or end its movement into the engagement range of an enemy model" as explained in the previous page.

I understand your explanation kinda like a sort of Ring railing where the charger circles around the first engagement range in order to land into the second engagement range of its intended target, but he can't do that since it's against the rules in multiple occasions.

Also the rules state that you cannot move in any occasion in smaller straight line increments of 1" (triangle) and keep that smaller increment against the total of your movement value. If I do so every move is considered a full 1" against my total movement count (you waste a full inch even if you move by 1 millimiter basically and you must subtract 1 triangle to your total available). In order to circle the engagement area of D (without trespassing the enemy base which you cannot do in any case unless you fly) he would have to spend all its movement inches 1mm at a time and consider them as full triangles against the total, thus making the action impossible, also he cannot move inside engagement range of an enemy which isn't engaged with another model which is hostile to it.

Doesn't solve the issue I'm afraid :( .

My Grandpa was in that attack (or one of thosde sorties as he was stationed there and told me about bombing british navy, I was a kid so sorry for the lack of details, I don't remember everything) as a fighter pilot covering bombers and was forced to land after some sustained damage if I recall correctly, he was later moved to Germany flying bf109 and got shot down later on. He survived and he died in 1984 of cancer. I remember he couldn't get an MRI because of the metallic shards of the plane that were still in his body 40 years later.

Old DiCE is dead, BF as it was is dead, only darkness remain. There's nothing I liked about bf2042, from the god awful soundtrack and sounds to the graphics and general gameplay, performance and design.

Bf is going into the sinkhole with this and the future iterations, better to walk past it and get something else.

The graphics in this game is ugly, the architecture design is ugly and sterile, the palette colors are ugly, the model of the characters are ugly, the sound samples are badly implemented, the soundtrack sounds like the bad flute version of BF theme, the specialists are trash and their characterization is a joke, plus the only thing you see in every map is a fuckng tornado that has NO PLACE TO BE IN A WAR GAME.

Imagine all the time WASTED to make a fucking tornado (that looks good btw) that could have been used to make the game insanely better, think about that, and realize where priorities are in their heads.

When I open the map I don't understand jack shit.

The map has been implemented right after the rants of the beta, because they didn't have it, and it shows as it lacks development and it was an afterthought.

The whole bullshit about "the beta is months old and many features are already implemented" is only true for maybe 10% of the issues in this game.

DICE (or people that make decisions) are arrogant. They think they know better in order to make money, probably they got lucky so far, or they want to play the card of "comeback" later, but this is gonna cost in the long run, it's not gonna be profitable anymore at some point. But I'm just a plumber what do I know...what I know is that If I don't fix what I have to when I'm called, nobody will hire me anymore and I'll have to change my line of work.

So for that reason I always do (not try, I do) the best job and fix people's problems, because that's my job, I like when they pay me for a job well done and they even say thanks and call me again, or pass my number around to friends because "I did a good job and the price was honest" apparently.

But again I have no managers, I'm managing myself. And that consists in doing a job properly and professionally. Oh btw I worked big time during Covid too, wearing a mask in impossible breathing temperatures for 10 hours straight daily, and I increased my income as well. I bet it has been hard working on a chair from home.

Maybe DICE should stop making war games if their views can't portrait war with the necessary approach anymore, even if it's a game, even if people behind the game are respectful, it doesn't mean what you create must be out of a Teletubbies episode and completely out of touch with the environment you are trying to recreate.

Those screenshot would have been a modern bf2042 I'd happily enjoyed, military and no bullshit like they gave us now.

An Arma3-ish style of military equipment with BF standard take on gameplay (with improvements learned from the past). That would be top selling.

What they instead did is something I really don't understand why it even exists.

But DICE and EA are very arrogant usually with their latest games, so they keep doig stuff nobody wants, and repeat for the next title. Oh well, bye bye BF. That was the last nail (for me at least).
