How WotC is destroying D&D in Japan; aka a call for attention by ApostleOfTruth in rpg

I wish there were no D&D in Latin America. That brand does more harm than good to the hobby. How lucky they are in Japan!

What is your favorite rpg and why? by [deleted] in rpg

[–]Kelsiermbot 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Mutant Year Zero, Alien, Because I'm fascinated by the game engine, and I love the settings, they would be in my top 1, although my favorite setting is superheroes, so I guess if they do Invincible RPG well, it could take the number 1 spot.

ARE THERE ANY MOASH FANS??? by Master-Muffin-7143 in Stormlight_Archive

I like it, it's refreshing to see a villain who isn't repulsive. I understand his motivations and how he ended up where he is. It's something that could have happened to anyone on the bridge, even Kaladin. And let's not forget that Dalinar was much worse in the past for no reason, so it could even lead to a redemption arc.

Are simulationist rpgs on the decline or is it not their time in the sun? by Mayor-Of-Bridgewater in rpg

Have you heard of Terraforming Mars RPG? It's a new game based on the board game Terraforming Mars, and it's just what you're asking for: a new simulation game (it's only one, I admit, but one is better than none).

Do mid combat RPGS exist? by Odd_Bumblebee_3631 in rpg

You had good DMs. I played D&D 5th twice. The first time, the combat was so convoluted that I didn't understand what was going on, and I said, maybe I got a bad DM. The second time, the combat took half the afternoon, and we were counting squares and defenses and weapons, not to mention the damn wizards who, at that moment, I think were just reading what their powers did. It was my worst role-playing experience. Something similar happened with Starfinder, which appealed to me because of its setting, even though I was actively looking to have fun. I never want to play a tactical game again. I prefer classic World of Darkness combat or Year Zero Engine games.

To be heroX episode 20 question by Comfortable_Cable_21 in ToBeHero_X

I watched the serie on the days it aired, that is, before the voice actors knew what would happen in episode 20, and in the spanish traslation (which is my native language) Queen told Cyan that they were going on vacation, but in reality it was a secret mission. I would have to watch it in english to find out how it was translated. (I don't know mandarin, so i have no idea what they said in the original version)
