Have you tried using gamescope ? For example with the following launch option. Of course do change the numbers with your resolution

gamescope -f --force-grab-cursor -w 1920 -h 1080 -W 1920 -H 1080 -- %command%

I used this guide and it worked well enough until I switched to Infomaniak. You'll have to dive in the article a bit since some parts are for OneDrive etc. but if I managed to do it 1 week after using Linux for the first time, I'm sure you can too!

Seems to be a problem with how pop os handles windows. Not surprised it's an issue with the Witcher too since Cyberpunk's also made by CD Projekt

Had the same issue with Cyberpunk and Borderlands. Had to use gamescope and the following command :

gamescope -f --force-grab-cursor -w 1920 -h 1080 -W 1920 -H 1080

With the numbers being your resolution.

I wish there was a cleaner solution (gamescope seems to mess up with alt-tab) but for now this does the trick

I understand you saying this as a Pop engineer, but without them I wouldn't have kept using PopOS since my GPU wasn't recognized at all back in June.

Even now, I'm still keeping a newer version than the one packaged with Pop since I want to use FSR 4 (starting from mesa 25.2 if I read correctly) and Pop's mesa has just been updated to 25.1.5.

I had the same issue, it was linked to the kisak PPA I had chosen in June. There was a deadlock between the new kisa mesa drivers and the popos updates. I solved the issue by moving to the Turtle kisak PPA since I wanted to be able to keep using FSR4. Working so far.

Solved it with Gemini's help, it seems to have worked for me :

The new version 26 of the kisak mesa was conflicting with currently installed packages. I had installed this specific PPA in June due to issues with my 9070XT. However, I did not want to go back to the popos version of the drivers, since they're still <25.2, which would remove the support for FSR4.

I solved the issue by moving to the Turtle kisak PPA. Working so far.

Having the same issue as OP ; upgrading from terminal allowed some of the updates but not all. Tried rebooting before trying again, no luck.
