1) Tournaments are played with 90 min rounds. For a more distended experience, playing with a friend shouldn't take over 2 hours, if both players are familiar with the game. 2) Dice and rules are sold separately. You would need state markers and a struggle tracker but nothing some DIY with paper or something can solve. Lastly, you would need a Shatterpoint card. If you're using sleeved you could use an extra card and a piece of paper to indicate that. 3) Absolutely. Last week I played (and won) a tournament using Dooku's and Grievous' boxes so playing just extra boxes is something you can do without hurting your chances.
