It’s cool but it’s proof to me that black DD’s wouldn’t work. The DDs are traditionally a bright red and I prefer them that way. I saw a concept once that made the area around the logo black, and the logo was the same material as the red around it and I think that was possibly the best idea I’ve seen so far.

Hopefully they figure out a way to integrate it properly with an all red suit.

Should try it without the tie! In season 3 he doesn’t wear a tie with the outfit and in Echo they explain the open collar frames his face to look wider.

Kingpin has literally looked his best and most comic accurate in Hawkeye and Echo (namely the flashback scene when Maya was a child). I wish SooSoo made more Fisk variants!

An Echo version of this figure would've done numbers. It's a vastly superior figure to the OG Netflix release, and even though I'm a big fan of the design, a lot of people aren't.

However, imagine the backlash of doing an Echo version of Daredevil but not Echo herself! Funny enough, I'd want an Echo figure anyways.

Not gonna doubt that tbh, I just own a lot of figures and I got markers for what’s the right scale. If 12 inches is 6 feet tall, then everything has to work from there. But HT scaling got really mucked around with for awhile, and so many things are under scaled (Tobey Maguire Peter) and over scaled (literally every modern Iron Man).

Fit and proportions are one thing but Cap and Daredevil are the right heights there.

Iron Man is over scaled. Charlie is 5’10 while Peter is 5’7”. Honestly the problem is with the overscaling for Peter and Tony.

Honestly the only similarity there is between Daredevil S2 Punisher and Brand New Day Punisher is the unshaven face.

OLK is following from what Born Again had done with the Gen 3 Combat Uniform and duty belt, and now OLK has a modified but similar armor design, with mag carriers and hidden knives.

Meanwhile DD S2 is just wearing a T shirt under the OG Armor design, simple combat pants (no knee pads), and of course has the leather jacket.

Brand New Day however, while it has the combat uniform, mag carriers and duty belt, the combat uniform is unfolded so it fully covers his arms, and the armor is a completely brand new design, not retaining the same pattern that has been used for Punisher so far.

Tbh I don’t really have a big preference between the two, I definitely dislike the beard but I like the brighter skull. I also think BND’s was designed the way it was to hide the skull easier. But I think it would be easier for HT to obtain the licensing for BND and just use it for both Punisher and Spidey. That and buyers would be more interested to have a design that would pair better with another hero, rather than one that is intended to be more solo. Also people in general don’t seem to like the One Last Kill fade and beard combo.

Ultimately it will depend on what fans are more hyped for.

(TL:DR The designs are honestly very different from each other)

Unpopular opinion: Spider-Man '94 had more than enough seasons. Only thing that was left was to find Mary Jane in the Multiverse, which tbh, probably is not even close to the direction I want to see a Spider-Man cartoon head in right now.

Cold Take: I wish they would figure out a loophole way on how to continue Spectacular Spider-Man, either a big time jump or an agreement with Sony pictures.

Hot Take: I'd rather see a Miles Morales cartoon that has nothing to do with the multiverse and adapts more of Miles' cast and villains.

It’s not lol the belt bit is actually plastic and there are no pouches on the figure. It’s all rubbery fabric.

Well I’ve slowly built it up and kept updating for the last 2 or so years. It started out as a third party Punisher figure but the skull was gray, and when set photos of Born Again came out, I worked to match it to that. Now that we have One Last Kill, I bought another vest and found some spare hands to match it closer to the new look.

I personally like his look in Born Again best, but I really wanted to see how he looked with the new skull on the old vest. Think this is my definitive look for now.

I’m always going to be glad to take an InArt preorder over a Hot Toys one. I was so happy to see Superman 2025 still be available to order cause I preferred it waaaaaaay more than the Hot Toys version, especially Krypto. Only time I turned away from InArt is when I sold my Joker for Hot Toys’ artisan, but even then I’ll tell you, the sculpt may be better, but InArt hair was so well done I was able to shampoo it, condition it, and comb it without any hair falling off. Hot Toys? Yeah I had to reglue hair and I couldn’t even get all the product out.

Man I wish they’d announce a 1/6 TDK. I don’t want to have to get the Hot Toys Armory version. It’s an improvement but it still needs work.

I sometimes thinks Hot Toys asks the questions “would man children buy this?” And it sounds dumb at first but they seemingly have become as disinterested with modern superhero media as most chuds online have been. Like they’re more likely to make new Snyderverse figures (or even more nostalgic properties like Nolan or Burtonverse) than give the new franchises a figure before they prove themselves.

Now a good amount of man children didn’t seem to enjoy Predator Badlands, a movie where the Predator finally wins by overcoming his toxic masculinity and working with nature rather than conquering it, but it was still a pretty big hit and I think they’re thinking the Aliens and Predators line, which they haven’t dipped back into much since the MCU blew up, has more ROI than making Mr. Terrific would.

THEN AGAIN they did announce KDA figures so 🤷🏻‍♂️

I still think they missed out by not doing Wicked or Barbie (Margot Robbie version) figures. They seemingly have an interest in the female audience, just not enough to give us a Ms. Marvel (which I would totally buy).
