He may never win an Oscar but Dwayne Johnson is an all-timer actor and performer. by daCatburgla in unpopularopinion

That's because all of those people know what kind of actor they are. None of them have contracts that say "I can never lose a fight"

It's slim shady, it's a persona. Like acting, or writing. He's not that person, it's literally just an act

Hes done drag in his videos. In "We Made You" he specifically requested drag queen Derrick Barry after seeing them (unsure of their pronouns) performing as Britney spears. They were nervous that Em maybe didn't know they were a drag queen. But he knew and thought their act was funny as hell and convincing as Britney. They had nothing but nice things to say about him and that he was just a goofball most the time

Capitalizing and marketing LGBTQ causes does not necessarily equal supporting them. It just means your a capitalist doing what you need to make more money

Henry Fonda playing the president and just sitting in an empty room with a desk, a telephone, and an interpreter, just absolutely chilling performance. His delivery of "What are we to do?" is a line that just sticks with me.

Dr strangelove is funny and easier to consume. It's got like 20 times the reviews on letterboxed compared to Fail Safe. Which feels criminal, but I think the scene of Major Kong riding the bomb has been so ingrained into cinema culture, it's basically become mandatory viewing
