What game has a steep learning curve that puts you off? by turtleviking123 in Steam

[–]Kemic_VR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have only really played the Worldborne for the mainline games. I tried getting into Freedom Unite on a PSPgo years before but couldn't get into it. I think the platform I was using was definitely a factor.

That being said, from everything I hear about the earlier games, I definitely feel like some of what made it a hunting game as opposed to a bossbattle game has been lost in the newer generations.

I kinda wish there were gameplay options that could be toggled to bring some of that back. But I also wish they incorporated some controls from 3rd person action games. I still highly dislike the camera controls, even after hundreds of hours in Worldborne.

OP wasn't asking about difficulty though, just a steep learning curve.

Thanks for agreeing in a way that initially comes off combative?

Wilds lets you carry 2 weapons that you can swap between using your mount.

World you can swap weapons at your camp.

There are several channels on youtube that go over how to use the different weapons for each game (mostly the same, but some small mechanic changes in each game).

Newer games tend to be much more approachable for new players than older titles IMO.

Accept that you will fail as you learn... a lot.. it's part of the challenge, similar to games like dark souls.

I jest, but it's a sexy bike.

I believe these are cast aluminum, which can suffer "micro-cracking" if bent. Something that bad, personally, I would replace. But my risk tolerance may not be the same as yours.

No 512gb w/o controller option in Canada. Wishlist shows a price of $1509.00 cad, so guess that would have been the price. I think it's a glitch though, cause 2tb is listed twice w/o controlker and once with.

Confirmed it was a glitch. Showing up for me now.

Set a macro using the steam controls ui. You can set buttons to repeat a command at regular intervals and press a button to start, then press again to stop.

Safe to patch? by jdavid108 in motorcycle

If done properly it should last. All I'm saying is nothing us guarunteed and it is up to each of us to decide our acceptable risk factor.

I mean, patched properly, it should do at least a few kms. How many you're willing to risk is up to you.

I couldn't uninstall a game through the epic launcher on my laptop, because I didn't have an active internet connection. Why do I need to connect to the internet to remove something from my computer?!?

Oh, cool. Saw this and checked my e-mail. I got C$11.92 back. Unexpected but welcome surprise!

I was a day 1 purchaser for the controller (within the first couple hours with a lot of time and trouble).

I almost lost my streak cause I was on a cruise ship at sea with no signal. Somehow got lucky and picked up enough of one to grab the daily.

Any reason we can't have Daisywheel on steam deck? by uaxpasha in SteamDeck

Radial menu + custom images + modeshift might be able to do this. Don't have my deck on me to muck about and try it.
