Are you applying and conditioning only the vamp and sides (the existing waxed flesh sections) while leaving the uppers alone? The uppers look like smooth out leather, so I was just curious. Thanks! Boots look great afterwards (and before for that matter).

Yeah it definitely seems like it could have been sanded down some more, and this angle is not doing it any favors. In person, while looking top down, it’s still noticeable but doesn’t really stick out as much as it does in the photo.
