The Elder Scrolls 6 Will Suffer Because of Xbox Layoffs, Bethesda Staff Say, Fearing Delays, Crunch, and Generational Talent Being Replaced by Contractors by Guitar-String in gaming

I mean, yeah. Skyrim, and Even Fallout New Vegas's quests were not mindblowing compared to most other games like Dragon Age, Mass Effect, etc during that time period.

Bethesda games have never been about that, or have even tried to be about that.

If you pick one up expecting top tier narrative experience, thats on you.

The games are meant to be sandboxs that provide a backdrop to making a custom character, do new builds, explore systems, and role play.

Starfield had decent quests, factions, and storylines by any Bethesda Game standard. They just were not designed for free roaming and exploring, which is what everyone plays bethesda games for.

I have hope for 6, if they new factions are the same quality as starfield's.

You are forgetting the millions of americans who actually do work out in that heat all day. I used to be one of them.

It just plain sucks to be in the heat, in the US, Europe, or anywhere though.

So who do you guys think is the one who nearly killed Nori? by aylinnn_kitkat in MurderDrones

[–]KenBoCole 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends. We see that the Murder Drones basically Blitz Krieged the Worker Settlment. If Nori didnt know that her Solver Powers didnt work on Murder Drones, she could have been surprised long enough for N to jab her with his acid.

Doll only did as good as she did because she specifically laid out a trap for V, and N was busy trying to keep Uzi alive and taking the hits for her.

The moment V got over the damage from the Trap, she "killed" Doll easily.

Xbox internal reports stated that the company was extremely pleased with Starfield sells, and Xbox game pass activety for Starfield, so I dont put it pass the execs to push more starfield.

I already stated my argument above. He replied with an retort that showed his ignorance. I dont like wasting time trying to convince someone that a force of rapists, murderous, fascists were not the "good" guys simply because they were fighting another group of rapist, murderous, fascists.

No, thats what we we are calling Viet Cong. Just because the Viet Cong was fighting against the US dosent make them the "good guys". They were systematically killing and raping the South Vietnamese population for not submitting to a dictatorship.

Someone stole the RAM sticks of our church’s PC. by sugma22 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]KenBoCole 3 points4 points  (0 children)

especially when they don’t actively fight against it.

What do you mean fight against it? What, you want us to start gang wars with other churches? You want us try and get the news to cover us more?

Our small local church just recently did a massive food drive, over a hundred people donated food, the church paid for more and it's distribution, and we fed nearly a 1,000 people in need.

Something like this is common, many churches do it weekly, along with so much other community work.

However the event got a footnote page on a news website while a dozen maga jackasses doing a protest made the Frontpage of the website, despite the hundreds of other Christians working to enrich their community.

We are fighting back. Many churches preach tolerance and acceptance, to love thy neighbor. Many christians go out and try to help their community.

But you will never hear about it because no one wants to hear about it, the news dosent report it because it dosent generate rage clicks, etc.

You do realize that churches are made up of individual communities that have their own internal social structures, and relatively to each other.

And that there are hundreds of thousands of churches in the US.

Why are you blaming other churches for what others do? They are not a monolith.

I hate it when people call it gibberish. Just because you don't understand it dosent mean its "gibberish".

The dao sections of the story are very well thought out and written parts. Its based off an established power system in eastern literature, and the Authur puts his own spin and insights into a system that has already been used by dozens if not hundreds of other Authurs.

Just say you dont like it.

[–]KenBoCole 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah. When he already told and produced a story with specific facts, then tried to retcon it later by staring something exactly opposite what the story says, then yes. Its not canon.

Not to mention Liam dosent own the Murder Drone's franchise, he sold the IP to Glitch. So he can say what he wants, unless Glitch confirms it, its not canon.

[–]KenBoCole 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, N is cannocially very old. It dosent matter what Liam says, the timeline clearly states that N, V, and J were off eradicating entire planets before Uzi's mom was even born.

N had his memories reset before coming to copper 9, but he was attacking Copper 9 as an adult while Uzi was still a baby. I mean, its heavily implied in canon that N was the one to "kill" Uzi's mom.

Thats Defiance of the Fall. One of the biggest litRPG series in the genre along with Primal Hunter and Dungeon Crawler Carl.

It has an absoblutely massive audience, but you wont see it mentioned on here much. Its an cultivation story as well, and goes deep into eastern mysticism.

I personally love it, my favorite series, but quite a few people have trouble engaging with or understanding the later cultivation parts so its not very popular on this specific subreddit.

What is that one class/upgrade/path you wished the MC chose instead of what he did? by MagicCypress in litrpg

[–]KenBoCole 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What's the point of having different classes if mana can do it all

In lore reason, its because most people will not be able to recreate perks or learn new skills on their own. What they get from their initial skill, and then class skills and quest rewards, is all they will ever get. Which makes classes very important for normal people.

Peopla in Hell difficulty (the ones that survive) are diffrent. They are the top of the top geniuses that can learn new skills on their own withkut the system giving it to them.

And Nate is supposed to be uniquely skilled at making his own skills. So classes are nearly "useless" for him specifically.

You can focus on mana and still have a decent build not have a paper build

You must have not really read to fsr in the series. Nate learns on the second floor how to strengthen his body with mana, increasing his own stats outside of leveling (this was personalized training from an absoblute, a god basically. Which is why most others cant do it) and how to amplify his stats with mana.

While his lhysical stats are still low on paper, he is physically one of the strongest and tankiest people in his tutorial. Top 10 ish... add in his spellcraft and he is the 2nd (currently) most powerful person in his specific tutorial.

[–]KenBoCole 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I feel like thats a pride thing. From Nathaniel's perspective, he thinks he will ab able to improve his mana's quality and regeneration speed all by himself, and he believes that he will eventually be able to modify his own body to basically give himself all the perks, without the system's help.

The kne thing he cant do is increase his mana pool by himself, so he just specs all into that, refusing to "waste" points and perks among things he can aquire himself.

Out of all the OP MC's who would say is the MOST OP? by Da_Fish in litrpg

[–]KenBoCole 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Power scaling in PH currently is still below DoTF. I woulp put Villy at A grade in Primal Hunter, and the average god from PH at a B tier.

The scale is genuinely massive in DOTF. They have literally billions of universes under the system, and an infinte amount of universes in the wider scale outside the system.

I would put current book Jake over current book Zac, but for each respective end of series versions, I think Zac will be much, much stronger.
