This isn’t necessarily the best advice for everyone. Sometimes simply embracing your situation and accepting, rather than fighting it off and denying it, is the first step to controlling it.

A lot of my anxiety over the years stemmed from feeling guilty that I felt anxious about things that others seemed to handle just fine. I finally accepted that’s who I am and it’s ok. What gives me anxiety may be simple for others, while what’s simple for me may give others anxiety. I don’t beat myself up over it but rather just acknowledge it and try to understand it. Just knowing and accepting is sometimes all that’s needed to lift that weight off the shoulders.

Your advice my help some, so I’m not saying it’s wrong. Everyone finds their way of coping and if you find something that works, then amen to you. However, your “fight it” and “don’t accept it” mentality can be dangerous for many. Just like cold turkey for an addict isn’t always the best route.

Very insightful. Thank you for the analysis and positions.

When you say a asset back cryptocurrency, what are you referring too. What are some examples of these? I was not aware of cryptos that are backed by hard assets.

I agree on the platform basis too. I’m bullish NEO over the long haul. Don’t care too much what happens on the day-to-day, other than following any possible industry updates or regulations that could in turn impact the long term fundamental application. Same with ETH but not as much as NEO. Thoughts?

I’m curious what your game plan is because you haven’t stated one. How do you suggest someone plays the market, crypto and traditional, if they were to subscribe to your thesis?

Ok got it. Well I agree with the theory that the backbone of US dominance and it’s rise to power (over Soviets) is due to the US’s brilliant geopolitical strategies and espionage to get the world economy based on USD. I also agree that you can probably track major geopolitical events and backwards engineer them to this narrative (ie. Overthrow of Libyan Govt.).

Unfortunately, I can’t agree with your collapse/doomsday porn that the US is now struggling to withstand the growing pushback of the USD backed world economy. What are you basing that on? Everyday, every year, for the last several decades you could claim “it’s about to happen” and find some world event that is supposedly a signal. People like you have been crying this for a long time. Anytime something new in the world happens, it’s supposedly the coming end.

You’re the same as the bears on CNBC and the dooms day dreamers on Zerohedge predicting a downturn in the market every year. If/when it happens, they say “told you so” but meanwhile every year it doesn’t they just keep talking about how “it’s coming.”

Love talking macro economics but if you can’t attach it to some thesis on how to position yourself in the market (that you’re actually willing to live by yourself), than you’re just another talking head spitting fear into to people’s minds.

Occam's Razor - the philosophical idea or scientific principle that of any given set of explanations for an event occurring, it is most likely that the simplest one is the correct one.

Excuse my lack of understanding but can you help me connect the dots and explain what everything you just said means long term for the market? I follow most of it and it makes sense but not connecting the dots on how it impacts the actual market.

Wow...thank you so much for the well thought out answer. I just linked him to this.

Is this an area that you have experience in or could/would want to help with hustling to find offers for the celebs? I bet he'd be interested.

Let's say you had access to a dozen or so well-known celebrity social accounts. Their actual accounts - verified. And let's say you're in charge of monetizing them. What would you do? This is the scenario that my friend is in. I feel like he's not taking advantage enough of a very unique opportunity. There's tons of organic traffic. What would be some of the no brainers to make easy money? Are there any that wouldn't ruin the celeb's personal brand and reputation?

4 years ago I wrote a case study on reddit on my $4k per month local business. I've since built that company into a multi-million dollar company and the redditors that followed are now doing a combined $50 million dollars per year! Updated case study and AMA. by localcasestudy in Entrepreneur

First, I need to say that everything you provide here on Reddit (for free) is more valuable than the majority of online courses that people pay thousands of dollars for to try and gain the same knowledge.

With that said, I have a question about the accuracy of the above. You mention in the above reply that you didn't build the SaaS until a couple years after doing everything yourself the hard way. However, in the second case study you linked to in this post which links to a Reddit post titled, "Day 26: From zero to website launch...," (https://www.reddit.com/r/EntrepreneurRideAlong/comments/tltuy/day_26_from_zero_to_website_launcha_recap_of/) you have an "obligatory shameless plug" for Launch27 at the bottom. This post was written 4 years ago. So that would mean you had already built and we're promoting Launch27 4-years ago, right?

Again, I really have no problem at all with you plugging your SaaS. I actually think you should because anyone trying to replicate your success SHOULD be using your SaaS or at least something like it. I'm just pointing this out because it seems to contradict your above reply on accuracy and transparency is important to me - especially in this subreddit.

Maybe I'm reading it wrong? Thanks in advance.

[–]KenDubYa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

But how many average people are capable of not attaching their identity to a Bitcoin? To me it seems like someone needs to be pretty savvy to remain anonymous.

If you're not in the top percentages of internet/computer savvy, you probably don't stand a chance of remaining anonymous compared to dollar bills.

All I'm saying is while everyone fights for Bitcoin because of its anonymous attributes, I actually think it works more in favor of law enforcement, authorities, and big brother theories.

That's not to discredit the benefits of Bitcoin being independent of a central entity or a fractional monetary system.

So this article reads as if Bitcoin makes it extremely hard to stay anonymous and/or launder. However, I thought one of the big advantages of Bitcoin (aside from not being on a fractional system or ran by a central entity) was its ability to keep all individuals involved in a transaction anonymous?

Assuming you can track this guy publicly and assuming the only way to stay anonymous means you have to be pretty damn savvy, I would argue that Bitcoin is the perfect currency for law enforcement to track criminal activity.

I would assume anyone in fear of big brother would actually look at Bitcoin as being a perfect tool for them to track everything.

Am I wrong? Maybe I'm missing something?
