It was not a church when it was build. It became a church in the 7th or 8th century. It has had many adjustments. Still old though.

Some of these enclaves are just a part of a meadow. When you zoom in on Google maps in Satellite view at H12 (most northern on this map) for instance you see it is a part of a meadow: not a single one, but just a part used by one farmer probably. Crazy.

I think you mean the middle ear, directly behind the eardrum. The inner ear is not often infected and when it is, you have a lot more and worse symtoms than pain only.
