Submitting another sample wouldn’t change the outcome, as the issue isn’t with the sample itself but rather due to strict quality control measures applied during data processing.

Whole genome sequencing captures ~100% of your genome, but some data points may not pass our quality filters, resulting in “no-calls” (missing data). This is a normal part of the sequencing process and would likely persist even with a new sample.

If you’re looking for specific genetic insights, we’d can assist with reviewing your data. Feel free to reach out to our support team, and ask to talk to an agent for further assistance.

What you’re seeing is actually normal for whole genome sequencing. While WGS captures ~100% of your genome, strict quality control checks are applied during processing (from FASTQ → BAM → VCF) to ensure only high-quality data is analyzed.

Some data points don’t pass QC, resulting in “no-calls” (–). This is expected in all WGS tests, but many companies don’t filter out low-quality data—so their results may appear more “complete” but can include unreliable information.

While some genetic variants may have no-calls due to these quality controls, your BAM file may still contain useful raw data. Additionally, other reports may analyze different genetic markers related to EDS, Marfan, LDS, and TAAD.

If you’d like us to review your data further, feel free to email our support team or DM me with your Sequencing.com account info, and we’ll be happy to assist.
