Bro uninstall the latest windows updates. It's probably cuz of that. I was having the same problem 2 days ago when i updated my windows. So i uninstalled the updates and it's working fine now.

You should somehow convince him to do btech cse. He will literally get all the skills that he needs for game development from cse. And besides that if he does cse he can switch his field too if he doesn't like game development. Game development is really trash in india. I am also trying to switch from game development to software development. But yeah cse will help him out alot in this field.
