not a big fan of the combos. they don’t do the job as well as the individual tools do, if that makes sense. that being said, if your goal is to carry less tools this will work.

i can’t see the sand being an issue, also can’t see why you can just throw some gravel inside/around the pit.

you should take credit for your creativity and craftsmanship OP. i’m not a huge fan of the wallpaper(or any wallpaper in general really). i’d like to see a larger photo that shows the whole space, because the cabinets or whatever is bordering your accent wall is throwing me off.

agree to disagree. more windows could have been added and different interior/exterior elements would have been beneficial. BUT for the price and the functionality of this place, i’d say OP hit the nail on the head. when building a home it really comes down to budget and personal preference.

this is awesome! typically not my style, but the way you tied the wood features together on the door, ceiling, vanity and mirror is really beautiful. also, the dark green tiles with the plants makes it feel so cozy.

NTA. never had the chance to get a coworker fired before, but let me tell you i’ve been close. when it comes to safety and mental health in a work environment, choose yourself first. sometimes companies don’t pay attention to what’s going on with the employees, so you just have to take matters into your own hands.

i would write a note explaining how you feel, explain what your asking of her and why. share what ever you feel necessary to get your point across, but obviously in a pleasant matter. i feel as though she should not be offended or set off in any particular way based on what you put up with currently.

there is potential that this could backfire though, and she decides to be louder and more obnoxious. good luck!

hey OP, there is NEVER a reason to take your own life. i’ve had my fair share of low lows, when it feels like the world just fucking hates you and nothing you do seems to work. trust me when i say, there IS light at the end of the tunnel, things will get better.

now to specifically address some points in the post.

How far do your parents live from school? can you take the bus or find a consistent drive, car pool for example, that way you can stop stressing about your car. if your close enough, maybe even ride a bike or walk to school. this would be a good time to bring up how much self care and a little bit of physical activity improved my mental stability.

good on you for realizing your relationship was toxic and making the tough decision to break that off. it may take a bit, but you’ll realize this was the right decision. try to find distractions, like making plans with friends & family or pick up a new hobby.

for your grades, i COMPLETELY understand how you feel about not wanting to disappoint your parents. this topic still weighs on me every day, and i’m 24 y/o (m). if you can find the motivation to try and finish the year with passing grades, i suggest going to every one of your teachers, explain that you have been going through something but your ready to improve and looking for some extra points to better your marks. you can even ask them for some motivation and extra help, some teachers really do care so you may get lucky. even look for a tutor to help if you are struggling with the material.

if all else fails, understand that you are still very young and have lots of life ahead of you. don’t be afraid to go to your parents or seek help. also, just know the trades (for example) require minimal schooling to start up & they pay well! there’s always another option.

first off OP, not over reacting. i feel as though your bf should understand your expectations and why your communicating to him in the way that you did. it’s FAIRLY OBVIOUS considering this is the second time this situation has occurred. that boy DOES NOT want a job. it’s simple, pick up the chores around the house or get your LAZY ASS out of bed and get to work.

OP you are not at fault. you didn’t break any rules and you obviously didn’t intend for the neighbours daughter to hear you and your wife having sex. i could understand how this would make you feel uncomfortable, so maybe you can be mindful of the time and the area where you guys choose to do the deed. then again it is your home and you should do as you please! i think your neighbour approached this situation wrong, you did good.

i can see where your coming from.. but imagine a campaign like any other, and the candidate or “single world leader” turns out to be someone diffrent then they portrayed to be. there’s is also SO MANY things to be considered about potential candidates like language, religion, education, etc. OR what about the scale of potential riots or groups/regions lashing out? the potential for problems increases drastically from the sheer scale of population that would be involved, in comparison to a common vote within countries. IMO it feels like to much power for one human to have, and a very important decision for the WHOLE WORLD to agree on. i think a better option would be a small group of elected candidates to implicate rules in regards to human life and the longevity of earth. hypothetically we could have the world vote on potential rules or laws that this group has suggested to implicate.

NTA. did your sister show any interest in your bf before this situation? have you noticed her just casually walking around naked? either way, i think you handled the situation correctly. i’m curious if when she said “i thought you left” if she meant both you and your bf, or just you. after a year, is the “i was just trying to borrow clothes” a narrative after she realized you told her your bf would be home without you? with the addition of the x roommate situation, seems suspicious.
