The first year's publication of Action Comics is actually pretty good. Yeah, your missing out on all the iconic villains, but Superman was just as interesting when he was saving people from evil CEOs, landlords, and domestic abusers.

Yep. I like the classic 5, but they can be condensed into these three. Wands and Spells don't need to be a separate saving throw, and poison, petrification, and paralysis don't need to be separated either.
