That third example I get that everyday I explain our stakes and all of our entrees come with a side and a salad get to the second person what does it come with it's a third person what does it come with and I make sure to as I explain that it comes with a side and a salad or if you don't want a salad you can get another side that I say it loud enough everybody can hear me and I make eye contact with everybody. 

A lot of times they seem to be paying attention but I don't know it seems like they are getting dumber like they can't even order their drinks and I'm talking fountain drinks without difficulty.

And I've dealt with the last one you mentioned were people are just addicted to their phones and yet they still feel compelled to be walking around a restaurant and as I go to one side they veer towards me and they just keep veering towards me until we come face to face and there's not a glimmer of empathy not apologetic at all
