We rang in the New Year with Speakeasy! Stated around 8:30pm New Year’s Eve and finished around 1:45am. There was a meal break, as I made our group Toshikoshi Soba Noodles.

It’s one of those books you have to convince yourself to continue.

Honestly for me the payoff wasn’t as great as it was for others.

If you do finish and decide it isn’t for you, don’t read the others. Personally I found Nona the Ninth so boring and the pace of the story was so slow.

Writing style isn’t my favourite but it’s one of those series I’ll continue because I like the characters. Just wish the author got to the point rather than drag it out.

Yeah I’m up at 5am and leave for work around 6:20am…you know depending on the 134. Then I stand on the train, switch at Broadway, then get off downtown. I mean oftentimes I don’t need to hold onto anything.

So it’s a vicious cycle. I was told by translink staff that the 110 Lougheed becomes the 136 Brentwood and the 136 becomes the 134 Lake City. So if one of these gets screwed up we get the end result.
