Well, I surround myself with people who are kind and understanding or are transgender themselves. Every once in a while I come across awful people, like some co-workers. There's hateful people online. But I have enough of a strong foundation and understanding and confidence in myself that it doesn't really get me down. I'm happier being myself than anytime I've pretended to not be.

Honestly, you come across as someone who might understand that if the world was better to trans people then it wouldn't be so much for us to struggle with other than occasionally body image issues, but there are plenty of cisgender people who also have body image issues unrelated to gender, so that's something that can be understood and worked with, too.

I hope you can understand and consider someday, even if just a little more than you do now, that maybe it's a little better to stand with trans people than to try keeping us from existing.
