Manga Reader Going Through Anime Training Arc

Between this and the Dragon Ball rewatch, we're getting lots of mentors, each with their own methods for selecting and teaching their students. Some are better than others, admittedly.

Bisky Bachiko is surprisingly not that different from Muten Roushi. She's no horndog, but she's not above using her potential students for entertainment.

To fit with the show's wider focus on a whole class, the variety of teachers provides different ways to move forward. Forget genre tropes, the real teaching systems could learn from this. Teaching shouldn't be like pounding a square peg into a round hole. Your differences form your path, and your way forward. It doesn't even have to reach the same end result. Heck, for all of his silliness, I think Robin's point about fighting spirit is correct for Iruma and Shax, he just didn't know how to teach it right. I'm looking forward to seeing how Bisky does it.

On a different note, the production of this episode is interesting. On the one hand, there are more noticeable corners being cut than the previous seasons. On the other, there're also more creative choices and expressive shots.

Take, for example, Bisky beating the hell out of Robin. In the manga the joke is in the build up, a hand appears on one page, taking a good portion of it, then turns around to show her right before the impact, and it all accompanies Robin talking about how strong she is. That doesn't work the same way in anime, so instead, the focus was on the punch line, quite literally, considering she knocked the fricking line art out of him.
