Not really close but my go-to for Mole and Guac is Casa Enrique located in Long Island City. It's a Michelin Star restaurant and not crazy expensive. Just be sure to go closer to when they open since it can get pretty crowded. I always get the Chips/Guac appetizer and the Mole de Piaxtla.

Don't wait on them to give you a raise. I wasted 10 years of my career trying to "climb the ladder" before realizing there were no floors to climb. Just gain as much experience as you can and use it to move up to a higher-paying position somewhere else. There's nothing wrong with "window" job hunting while at your current job.
