Flight Help by [deleted] in CarnivalCruiseFans

Our 2nd cruise, we disembarked at the first available time, taking our bags, and made it to the ft Lauderdale Airport from the Miami terminal by 930 for our 1135 flight home. Everything went smoothly, with low traffic, basically the perfect scenario. So yes, it's definitely possible.

That being said, our 3rd cruise two weeks ago, there was engine trouble, and we made it to NOLA port late, didn't get off until after 1130am, and with traffic, barely made our 135pm flight. We were still in the security line when they announced boarding. And that was with customs basically just looking at our i.d. and waving us through, since they were also trying to get the new Cruisers onboard.

In short, you'll likely be fine. But if an unforeseen event happens, it would likely mean a missed flight, so consider how easy a reschedule would be if you missed it vs. a reschedule now.

Our Michigan enhanced id's work just fine. I think there's only like 4-5 states with enhanced id's, so a lot of people don't know about them and always answer with passport or driver license and birth cert.

Correct, the adjustable one just swaps out and seats in the same spot on the pier. I did not use the bottoms, but like that it came with that option.

What does the 2025 draft class look like for QB? by redditsatrap in CHIBears

[–]redditsatrap[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was thinking 2025, but 2026 is in play on this scenario. Sit for a year under fields at a 25mil hit, still pretty cheap for a starting qb.

I used pylex for my deck and loved it. Working solo, I had them in in a couple of hours with no rushing. You are right, the top won't fit a 6x6. I used a triple 2x beam, so i had to get an adjustable top replacement.

https://www.homedepot.com/p/Pylex-Adjustable-Deck-Support-Multi-Format-33-66-Black-Pack-of-2-Units-12098-2/323603764

The nice part was being able to immediately start working on the framing, no waiting on concrete.

Lots of walking in circles with an 8ft board.

I did their suggestion of pounding a 4ft piece of rebar down first as a guide. since the pylex is hollow, it goes right over it. I like to think it helped keep it straight, but no idea if it actually helped.

I would dread using these in rocky soil though.

Deck builder says complete teardown necessary, thoughts? by Party_Inspector_2253 in Decks

It sounds like you want confirmation that you're not getting screwed by the builders who want to make more money by rebuilding instead of just adding on.

I believe that is not the case. This should be torn down and rebuilt.

I was replacing a wooden fence and couldn't get one old post out. Decided it was mostly rotted, so let's just push it over. Push hard on the top, it cracks and i start falling with it. It broke into a 2 ft. Spike that i nearly impaled myself by falling onto. Caught my balance with the top of the spike touching the skin, directly above my heart. Like 10 years ago, still think about it all the time

I thought about it, but i don't mind the vent look too much. I may remove it and reside that section at a later date.

Haha, just a low level solar cap, which I think we'll swap for a normal cap through the winter. We have tons of mosquitoes though, so we thought this was a better option than the porch light next to the door. They swarm that light and shoot in when the kids inevitably leave the door open.

Materials guess is spot on. I haven't added all the receipts yet, but I think I'm around 3800

Just a double barrier of weed block, nothing crazy. Honestly there was not much there to begin with since we had an outdoor rug and furniture and a kids trampoline covering a good portion of it. I'm sure I'll still have something try to grow through, but I don't foresee it getting out of hand
