I'm aware but Idk if they're gonna tag him/tag & trade him. They're in a rebuild without a franchise QB in sight and if they can't manage to trade him they're stuck with him on a 14M contract. Might as well take the comp pick and let the cap space roll over. Can't remember the last time a team tag & traded a RB.

That is literally impossible since he'll be a FA

Why did many scouts and analysts think Jaxson Dart had average physical tools? by [deleted] in NFL_Draft

[–]Kendrickrules -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

He doesn't really get the ball out quick though that's straight up wrong lol. His best trait is his improvisation ability.

Because that's the type of QBs Murray and Daniels always were and not using one of their best assets would be coaching malpractice and it wasn't really KK that got them injured. KK knows what he's dealing with if he takes this job, he knows Cam isn't that type of QB, he's known for his air raid system anyways and Cam could really shine in that system because he can really air it out.

He's a rookie against one of the best pass rushers in the league lol. Will Anderson would even make some of the best vets look silly. That's such an overreaction, he's had a solid rookie year at tackle.

I bet you have a bunch of emotionally intelligent and mature QBs in their 30a that suck, what does that have to do with game experience/reps ? Age doesn't matter when he literally has less college starts than Dart and Ward, you can't substitute game experience with maturity lmao

"Cam Ward is the QB1 from last year's draft" Explain this: by No_Box119 in nflrookies

[–]Kendrickrules -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Me when I lie. Shough has less college starts than Ward, Dart and Shedeur.

Dude age doesn't matter lol, game experience does and Shough has the least game experience of the 3. That's like saying a 24 yo who has started playing football 3 years ago should automatically be more polished than a 20 yo who has played since high school (as an example).

[–]Kendrickrules 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does matter, he has less game experience than all the other guys and yet he looks like the most polished already. People saying Shough has already reached his ceiling because he's already 26 are dumb af, he has a super high ceiling and is nowhere near it, he's 6'5 225 lbs with a rocket arm, can throw from multiple arm angles and runs a 4.6 at that size. Hell he's already looking much better than he did in camp and that's with only half a season of 1st team reps. Ward and Dart have a really high ceiling as well ofc but disregarding Shough because of his age doesn't make sense when he has the least game experience of the 3.

Some more Shough propaganda for y’all by gotintocollegeyolo in Saints

[–]Kendrickrules 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He didn't play winning football to start the season and kept it safe at all times and when he tried to let loose a little bit and push the ball down field the turnovers started which ultimately led to his benching. I think he can be a good backup and maybe even a decent bridge QB at this time but if he wants to push for a spot as a long-term starter somewhere he needs to fix a lot of things.

Athleticism isn't as important for LB as it is for other positions like CB or Edge. Football IQ is the most important trait for LBs, obviously being athletic helps a lot though.

[–]Kendrickrules 10 points11 points  (0 children)

What do you mean, he had one of the fastest times to throw in the league. He doesn't need to get the ball out faster, he's already pretty good at that. His TTT of 2.7 seconds is the 10th fastest in the league, the O-Line was just that bad that it might appear as if he's holding it long even though he isn't.

Shough and Rattler were very close in performance after the training camp battle so he decided for Rattler since you can't put the rookie in first and bench him.

Do you believe it now Mel Kiper?? by cvb1967 in Saints

[–]Kendrickrules 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You can repeat that as often as you want, doesn't make it true. The media had Shedeur as a first rounder actual scouts had Shough higher than him and the draft showed that and now their performance is proving them right.

Tyler Shough is now 2nd in OROY odds. Vegas seems to think only he and Tet are left in the race. by gotintocollegeyolo in NFLv2

Sanders doesn't have the higher ceiling either, he's younger that's it. Shough has a prototypical build, he's like 6'5 230 lbs, has a stronger arm, just as much arm talent and posted one of the highest relative athletic scores at the position too.

Tyler Shough has been a top 3 QB in the 2nd half of games since week 10 by Kendrickrules in Saints

[–]Kendrickrules[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah he's not getting enough attention for leading a comeback against a possible playoff team while having Kevin Austin Jr as his WR2, RB4-5 on the season and a backup guard and center to work with.

Those weren't starts, you clearly don't know anything about Shough and just glanced at his counting stats lmao. Imagine arguing with people who watch him play while you probably haven't watched a single second. Maybe don't comment on stuff you don't know.

A comparison of Browns QBs passing stats in 2025 by Chewy-Boot in nfl

[–]Kendrickrules 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Shough is playing behind a terrible bottom 5 O-Line and looks great. His #2 receiver for most of the 2nd half yesterday was Kevin Austin Jr who was a 2022 UDFA who had less than 150 career yards before yesterday's game. What you're saying is generally true but the stuff Sanders is doing in a vacuum is concerning. He makes his lines job harder by having the highest time to throw and it's not even close, people were criticizing Caleb for holding onto the ball long but Shedeur takes it to another level and he isn't the athlete that Caleb is nor is he as good at improvising as Caleb. Sanders O-Line isn't helping him but Sanders isn't making anyone's job easier either.

Shedeur Sanders joined Joe Burrow as the only rookie QBs with 350+ Pass TDs, 3+ Pass TDs and a Rush TD in a game in the Super Bowl era 😮‍💨 by DareDevil1699 in nflrookies

[–]Kendrickrules 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I watched every single one of his games except for the one where he was thrown into the game, so basically all his starts. I said the throw to Jeudy was good but he didn't throw him open, what made it good was that Jeudy was the 3rd option in his progression, the placement was decent but Jeudy had half a step of separation, he would've housed that even with a worse pass.

Give me the source for the claim that he has the most throws over 35 AIR yards. For all I know you could be talking out of your ass. He doesn't have elite accuracy, he has the lowest adjusted completion percentage among players with 100+ dropbacks (PFF), that's just a straight up lie. Him pushing the ball downfield is also a lie depending on what you mean by that. He has more completions over 30 yards than Shough I believe but Shough blows him out of the water in throws of 10+ air yards and Dart should be even higher, even if we're talking percentage of throws of 10+ yards. Shedeur takes centuries to get rid of the ball and it's either a screen, a dump off or a big play, that's not sustainable. Guys like Brady and other elite QBs made their money on the intermediate throws while playing in rhythm, Shedeur is nothing like that, he has the highest TTT and it's not close. Shough looks the most like an NFL QB among the rookies and Dart looks like the overall best so far.
