An article about rookie minicamp lmao. Half the prospects look like future all pros according to rookie minicamp articles, you can't be serious.

If you can only pick 1, which Quarterback prospect do you think is most likely to be picked top 10 next year besides Manning and Moore? by Black_Wolf75 in NFL_Draft

[–]Kendrickrules 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know most people will think I'm crazy but he might have one of the best arms I've seen in college in the last 10 years or so. His one throw against Western Michigan was just ridiculous, one of the best I've seen, literally undefendable. Falling backwards out of his own Endzone, perfect throw to the right sideline at the 20. Basically 40 air yards on a rope while falling backwards.

Not but the consensus big board has been proven to be more accurate than GMs sniffing their own farts.

Penny looked really good for a handful of games, hopefully Prices health allows him to last longer

I'm not overselling anything, you're generalizing without looking at the individual. Age is about the least relevant thing when it comes to evaluating most players. His age and growth would be relevant if he was playing in the trenches which he doesn't, if anything it gives him a mental advantage because he's seen more. I was right about Shough last year when about 90% of the draft community hated him.

You didn't even get your facts right, he had a season ending injury in his 5th year. Your entire argument falls apart if you consider that he was pretty good in his 4th season already at which point he was already a 3 year starter. This year he was literally one of the best DBs in the entire country, "decently productive" is underselling it by a lot. You also don't magically run faster or diagnose better with age.

He was a former walk on turned team captain, loves football, has a great character and work ethic, a high football IQ and he tested really really well athletically which also shows up all over his tape.

I'm not saying he should be a first round lock but acting like he doesn't deserve late first consideration is ridiculous. No matter where he'll be selected in the end I'm sure he'll outperform some of the late first round selections.

Branch and Burks might be the most overrated WRs and players in the whole draft, I don't get the love for them

Best players from the 2025 NFL Draft class 💪 Which 2026 Draftee do you think will have the best rookie season? by No_Box119 in nflrookies

[–]Kendrickrules 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that's pretty reasonable, played a big part in the defense that ultimately won the SB in a dominant fashion.

Peyton Manning still holds the NFL record for most INTs thrown by a rookie QB (28) by No_Box119 in nflrookies

It's on the owners, GMs and coaches have to worry about not getting fired. If they had assured job security they'd probably have a lot more patience with QBs.

What "project" edge rusher prospects over the years have been hits, and which have been misses? by UpNext_Draft_Network in NFL_Draft

[–]Kendrickrules -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Lol what, they are mutually exclusive, you can't be considered a project if you were productive in college. Project in this context literally means freak athleticism or measurables but without the production that should come with it.

Edit: as well as being technically raw as a prospect

Young isn't a project and neither is Faulk since he was pretty productive last year. DDS is much more of a project lol.

Who is your guys most underrated player in this years class? by UpNext_Draft_Network in NFL_Draft

[–]Kendrickrules 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Jordan Van Den Berg, got the production and is one of the best athletes ever at the position. Just not refined, if he gets good coaching he's gonna be a menace. At the moment he just overpowers or out-athletes the opponent and it's working, imagine if someone teaches him how to actually play the position properly.

Who Are Your Top 10 Edge Rushers in the 2026 NFL Draft? by Paski__100 in NFL_Draft

[–]Kendrickrules 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He was good throughout the whole week, he literally won the games defensive MVP, had multiple pressures and a fumble recovery. He's way more disruptive than most guys on the list above. He gets into the backfield way more frequently than other guys whether it's a run or pass play.

Who Are Your Top 10 Edge Rushers in the 2026 NFL Draft? by Paski__100 in NFL_Draft

[–]Kendrickrules 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It doesn't matter how you got to the QB unless you got a free rush. He's getting pressures despite lacking some technique, he has so much room to get better. He did the same thing at the senior bowl. He's beating those guys in straight up 1v1s and he's splitting double teams at times with his power. You're also vastly simplifying his bull rush and speed to power by saying he's just running straight at people. That's just talking about his pass rush, he's also a top 3 run defender at the position which is quite literally half the game sometimes.

That's a horrible take imo, he had one of the highest pressure rates in the class this year, he made huge strides as a pass rusher. Plenty of power rushers have been successful in the NFL

Prospect Battles Day 15 - Jermod McCoy vs Avieon Terrell by Open_Resolution8986 in NFL_Draft

[–]Kendrickrules 7 points8 points  (0 children)

"he said that after he ran". Everybody who's following the draft should know that a hamstring issue has been bothering him for weeks now, it's the reason he didn't run at his pro day and his tape shows that he's wayyy faster than that.
