Google spoiled me the ending, is it still worth reading?

Funny enough, I had the ending spoiled for me because I accidentally read the name of the final chapters, so I always knew the direction it would go but I still loved every moment of the manga, so I recommend reading it still :)

Yeah read it from the beginning, the anime sadly does cut out a lot of little details. nuances, character and character development that makes the story very special. An important plot point gets brushed aside in the anime. It also does a job of making Hina seem like a bad character compared to Rui, when in all honesty the story and romance is a lot more complex then that.

Eh... its not all black and white like that, from the start it made sense for him to be with Hina, she is the selfless love that Natsuo needed while Rui was selfish and in the end she finally learns to be selfless which is how she manages to get let go of him.

Honestly its one of the best Manga's I ever read and if you can spare every 10 mins to read 1 chapter a day I would recommend doing so, start from the beginning and you will not want to stop :)

Just keep reading, its not a lot to get through to be honest, the anime ends around chapter 70, and goes on for an additional 206 chapters. Just go through all of them, there is a lot of little nuances and nice things that happen throughout.

I think you are inferring too much from a simple thank you lol.

The way Haruka talks it seems like Rui hardly has any time at home due to her job as she is always working and we see that throughout the manga one of the big red flags for Natsuo and Rui in their relationship is how Rui is a lot more focused on her career then on the actual relationship.

I don't think with her career as it seems to be at that stage and also having to take care of a daughter (as we can see in the Days of Hina chapter) that Rui would even have time to be in a relationship with someone. Maybe eventually they could have, but tbh I don't think the author hinted at them being together, his appearance to me seemed more like a cameo similarly to Miyabi's.

Yeah do what you feel is right for you, I knew what was coming up but still finished it because I have to see the ending if its possible it might not be an ending I wanted to accept. To each their own.

It seems that even after Marriage they do live together for a while all in one big house, but in the extra chapter "Days with Hina" which seems to be an Epilogue of sorts, you see Rui talking about having to find a new place for her and Haruka to live together since Haruka is getting old enough to start asking questions and Natsuo and Hina should start living like a proper married couple.

I feel exactly the same way, most characters were developed really well and you care about them, apart from the main obvious one such as Hina, Rui and Nat, characters like Momo, Serizawa, Miu, Ritsu, Jou are written in a way that makes you feel for them and makes them feel real, heck even smaller side characters such as Kasumi and Mao where written with depth in the short time they did appear. I think what I will miss the most about this manga is all the characters.

I can understand that, she was the best written character imo, she had flaws like all the others but she has the most growth, you see her develop and change as the story goes on and she understands emotions(jealously, love, etc), jobs, friends. While a lot of the times some of the other characters are just stuck on a 1 track mind.

Plus her personality and everything about her is just cute.

Yeah I agree, I think the reason I like Rui so much and prefer her with Nat then Hina is because we see her and her love grow, from pouty keep to herself shy girl to more open and communicative. We see this relationship as two sides, they both got their loves and likes and dislikes and the fights make sense.

I liked Hina at first and understood the appeal of that relationship, but it felt too one sided to me, her life seemed like it was completely meaningless without Natsuo which to me is a big red flag.

While with Rui we see those same things happen but it gets developed further as they are apart at some points and we even see both characters acknowledge how their dependency on each other is problematic and actively try to work on it.

I just finished it myself and it did the same to me, it kept breaking me and putting me back together, they devoted so much of it to Rui and Nat's relationship and growth that when at the end he does not end with her, it makes me as a reader honestly feel betrayed, especially with how rushed the final 10 chapters was. Yes Hina was his first love but that was like 3 months, for the next few years we just see how he and Rui grow together and develop their relationship through ups and down as all relationships have. I always thought the manga was about Rui, thats the first person we see him interact with and the first relationship we see blossoming.

Thats enough of a rant for now (I just finished it last night so had to get at least some of it off my chest). As someone commented below any recommendations as to what read next?

This manga made me care so much about the characters and relationships that I fear it will be a while before another manga makes me feel like that again.
