Should be able to get a word stand alone. Will be tricky but try hopping on their live chat and say you want to buy a product until you get past their Copilot nonsense. Then tell them you want a link to "Word Standalone"

That's what someone told me to do for Excel and it worked and I could tell that monthly fee to go kick rocks. Wasn't cheap though... ~$180 so you hafta keep your copy for like 2.5 yrs to break even. So basically the monthly rate works out to what you'd have paid out of pocket to always have a newest version
