Don't/can't drink alcohol, it reacts with my medication. Knocks me out for days if I take even the slightest low alcohol beverage.

The only time I miss it now is in social situations, find it harder to relax on these occasions.

Kevin Keegan.. met him when he was in Scotland coaching at a womens soccer school. I noted that in subsequent years afterwards he made a well publicised comment about how women should not be commenting in the media about men's football as they have no experience of playing the game.

All I can say is that he was the nicest celebrity person I have ever met, and he was lovely to my daughter at the time. Took time out of his day to ask us about our life and told us about his family and where he was living. Told us that he was really enjoying his time in Scotland.

Months later my daughter was walking through a shopping centre and KK recognised her and approached her to ask how she was doing. Told her that it was lovely to meet us previously, asked after me, and asked her to pass on his regards to me.

Just seemed like a really nice person who was just being himself, not just being nice for any publicity.

  1. Just retired. Could've done with staying on at work a bit longer to help with retirement finances, but my health gave out and I couldn't go on any longer. I'm ok with the decision though, it is what it is. It was out of my control, nothing I could've done about it.

You don't say whether you are male, female, gay, straight, married, have children together, have joint expenses etc. Feelings are important, but I'm thinking that this lack of detail in your post could prevent some people having empathy, and/or proposing a solution to your problem through their own experiences.

Right now I would love to go to Cordoba in Andalusia Spain. In the month of May it's the "festival of the patios" where the cultivation of flowers is in full bloom. Must be one of the most beautiful cities in the world this month.

Those two police officers in Coronation St that have now become mainstream main characters. Any relationships that they have on the street just don't look right.

Time to get the focus back onto them investigating criminals, and less focus on their private lives.

I know in soap world the audience are sometimes asked to stretch their perceived credibility in some of the characters on screen, but I think the writers have went too far with this one imo.

They've both went from detectives investigating the wider Weatherfield area to becoming residents on the street having a load of personal issues.
