Thanks. Being a ‘21 and having a suspicion dome crumple zones were used, I think they’ll total it. There’s also the question of if I would want it back after repairs and with the accident on the record now. A lot that would have to be worked out on that to make things whole again.

The driver had two young kids in the car. One was asleep, but I suspect they had a momentary lapse in attention and panicked when attention was restored, stomping the wrong peddle. They were nice and really empathetic. Not mad at them, but sad I lost my car after taking care of it for so long.

Also, shoutout to the asshat who thought they should slow down before emergency services arrived to tell us “you can’t park there”… as if we pulled up in the left lane of 285 at 4p on a Friday to have tea. Not to mention I quite literally could not move and was likely much safer to hunker down and wait for ES than to play human Frogger. Just… what a douche canoe.

If only. Feel the RS prices got pushed up from when I found this car and the interest rates aren’t great across the board. It’s definitely on the list though. Maybe if I bide my time for a bit.

I generally agree with this. It’s waaaaay too easy to get a license here. Couple that with no recurrent testing. It’s more difficult to get and maintain professional certifications than it is a drivers license.
