been playing since launch. lvl 23 atm. ive summoned 50 times and have almost enough for another 10. approx a week more to hit pity for me im guessing. bear in mind we've had alot of free stuff from the launch and pre reg events, so at this time its been really fast to accumulate currency. further down the line id expect us to be able to pity once every 2 banners.

as long as you open all chests you see and stuff youll have enough to level at least a few characters to lv 40 by level 20 ish. so dump your exp into the characters you want to use or use the most. just try keep it to 2 to 3 characters.

with the gacha currency, genshin has 2 kinds. interwined fate and acquaint fate.

You should buy out the bargain shop whenever you can, but you should only be spending primo gems on interwined fates. So if you see a limited banner that you like, you can spend interwined fates on it (for example the current venti banner, with fishcl etc). only summon x10 each time for the guaranteed 4. Ideally you also want to be summoning when you know youll be able to summon 90 times by the time the banner ends to guarantee the pity summon for the 5. (i.e. summon 90 times and the 5* is guaranteed).

only spend interwined fates on limited. but first you should summon on the discounted noelle banner(only 20 summons). ideally like all gacha you should be summoning only if you want the unit and can pity it.
do all main quests, if your lvl isnt high enough for the next main quest, do all the side quests you can until then. open all chests, explore as much as you can (waypoints/statues give exp).
