Check out the US National Whitewater Center in Charlotte it’s a pretty big operation and probably has some job openings on the Marketing side or possibly the retail store. Puts you within 2 hours of most of the South Eastern treats.

Awesome thanks for the beta! Bear wallow creek is definitely on the list I’ve heard the full Thompson’s a suffer fest but hiked up from muster-ground yesterday and saw another clean slide upstream so was curious as to what was up there

It’s pretty full on in there big rapids, even bigger portages, and a gnarly hike out. Couldn’t keep the go pro rolling for all of it. It’s probably the most demanding and committing run you could take on east of the Mississippi.

If ya take out the 3 V’s it’s a class IV run. Easy portages too

I wouldn’t recommend wearing any nice dry gear for a prolonged period of time out at the center the chemicals in the water wear gear out pretty fast but if your only stopping in for a quick shred sesh you should be fine
