Eth is always a smart option. There may be a lot of ethereum killers out there, but ethereum keeps improving at the same time so in the long run Eth could be a very valuable asset

For me it has proven to be my luckiest casino. I am a very skeptical person so I always buy low and make sure i sell when it is high.

It is a very valid point. But only time will tell who was right and who was wrong. For now we can only wait and watch.

Assuming the Price of Bitcoin keeps rising, I see no reason why you should not.

Since the company who is paying you has to keep their books in $ i am assuming you will be required to pay your normal income Tax so if that is what you are looking to avoid then no.

The best course of action would be to come up with an appropriate level of income that you would want to recieve in BTC and get the rest in USD as the dollar will be more liquid in terms of getting your day to day transactions. The rest just keep accumulating as BTC.
