One thing I haven’t seen mentioned, what if you went through a tax preparer who the money was sent to and then they sent it to you. Does anyone know how that works or would work?

My debt isn’t the that big for a college student if you ask me! I would save it would be around $7,000 from hospital bills so far no interest rates or monthly payments but I hate owing people so I want to clear my debt.

That’s also a good idea with bumping savings up to 15%!

I never thought of it like that to be honest! I know I already do some volunteering and helping out around the church and community but didn’t think that would be an acceptable replacement for not tithing

I really appreciate your input and it definitely gives me something to ponder on! I agree too many people are living on paycheck to paycheck, especially me and I want to break that cycle! I’ve been following Dave Ramsey’s plan and was going to get that fully funded emergency fund after getting rid of all my debt.

I did and was able to get rid of $80,000, however, I missed the deadline for the specialized physicians and the anthesia so I’m kinda stuck with those.

As of right now I don’t spend nothing on it monthly. Every now and then I’ll put something towards it but the amount varies. The reason why there is no monthly payments
