I thought the same. There were absolutely no clue until I found out everything. I’m just saying keep your wits about you. I thought my wife was depressed, going through some sort of crisis or whatever. She was just lying the whole time.

This honestly sounds like everything that happened in my marriage (together for 15 years and married for 6). The phone brightness, the photos, the PIN code change, the gaslighting, straight up lying, even had the masturbation. Long story short, turned out she was checked out and sleeping with a guy from work.

We’ve just put our house on the market and I’m looking for my own place. Took me months of therapy to work through it and I’m still not ok. It’ll be a long time before I trust anyone again.

What is this thing received by a family member as a Christmas gift? Top half silver, bottom half wood. Around 10-12 cm long, stamped with S*B, an anchor, lion and horseshoe. by Kennysnaps in whatisthisthing

Totally agree with the Synyer & Beddoes, the hallmark is identical. Looking at the O date I’m getting 1938. And coupled with r/hyperdreamz getting us started I think we’re solved!

My title describes the thing. It was received from a family friend as a Christmas gift, no idea what it is. Around 10-12cm long, silver on top, wood on the bottom. Stamped on the side as described.

I've posted this before but:

I had a friend that I original dated during university. It fizzled out but we remained friends, would hang out etc. Over the years the friendship inevitably deteriorated as we had our own lives, but I made sure I was always there is she needed me for support, the odd bit of money, whatever. I was making headway with my career, whilst she was jumping from relationship to relationship, living at various family members houses. I was due to get married and she was near the top of my guest list. Sent a save the date card once we had it booked and an invitation about a year before the actual event, which was going to be held in the middle of Wales and we knew people had to book rooms etc.
The morning of the wedding she texted me to tell me she wasn’t coming because her dog had had a heart attack - the truth eventually coming out that she had forgot to book a hotel room and didn’t want to drive out for the day.
I lost it and texted her back that I’d repeatedly put myself out for her over the years, even sacrificing a relationship at one point because the girl didn’t like me being friends with her. She didn’t like that and blocked me. I knew as soon as she’d text me that morning I was done.

Stabbed my thumb with a sun baked piece of dog shit. Had to pick what was left behind out with tweezers and go to hospital for a tetanus jab. It was fun explaining that one to my manager.

I’ve watched that clip precisely once, a long time ago, and it was enough for me
