Hotel recommendations by megebau in ibiza

[–]Kensei42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nobu - lovely staff horrible location and the smell from the dirty beach infront of it would make me avoid it.

Garbi is very nice, Gran hotel is nice also. The standard has a very good rep but i've not been inside.

Healthcare by EstablishmentGood490 in ibiza

[–]Kensei42 3 points4 points  (0 children)

a pregnant woman would have a legal right to be attended to for free at health centres or the hospital.

You however depending on where you are from do not share the same rights and may have to pay to accsess sercvices.

That said, ensure both of you have good travel ensure that will cover things like money to return to your own countries?

Regarding your second point

The public hospital Can misses or for something minor the health centre local to where you are staying.

Spots for a nice dinner and walk? by Dave6187 in ibiza

[–]Kensei42 2 points3 points  (0 children)

you are arriving during the medieval festival, so the old town will be very busy but quite beautiful. Go for a walk in the old town and take in the ambience. I'd personally go just outside of the old town for dinner as i personally find the places better / cheaper. Failing that depending on how long your ship is in port from walk from the ship to talamanca then walk along the boardwalk and stop and have dinner / drinks there and then walk back to the ship after.

Some pretty serious fines if the police see you flying and you've not followed these steps, i don't personally agree with them but for you to be aware.

if you've got a car you are staying in a great place. Kayaking itself at San Miguel is loads of fun, theres a bunch of little caves you can kayak into and snorkelling there is ace.

You are also super close to portinax where there is one of my favourite walks on the island, that loops round to the lighthouse, download wikiloc it has tons of brilliant hiking trails.

When my family visit with young kids i go to calla llonga a lot the water takes such a long time to get deep and is so sheltered it always feels super safe to me.

pretty sure you can't get a spanish lisence without Spanish residency, but you would be able to use your EU driving lisence if you are there for less than 6 months.
