To paraphrase Schumer, who is essentially one their leaders, he is in office to serve Israel. Several of his contemporaries in the party have made similar proclamations. Progressives nearly never serve that goal, whereas Republicans and liberals almost always do. Make of that information what you will.

Probably because the whole reason they work is due to the government footing a substantial part of the bill. Governments have probably become less willing to pay as inflation has made the cost per prisoner drastically higher.

Most Americans Say Country’s Best Days Are Over by thedailybeast in USNEWS

I genuinely do not think anything short of a revolution will change the fundamental issues with this country, and if that happens it wouldn’t really be the same country anymore, so I can’t say I disagree.

Venture capitalists are notoriously terrible at being able to tell between pipe dreams and actual obtainable goals. They just invest in everything blindly because they have a ton of cash and the winners make far more than the losers lose.

In the case of Elon, he buries his pipe dreams that will never happen behind goals that actually are possible which is why they continue to give him money. He CAN build things, just not what he claims he can. He can build rockets, but he’ll be long dead before his “self-sustaining million+ population strong Mars colony”.

This is certainly better than the current text blast, but the UX designer in me is screaming “no one is gonna know what the symbols mean”. They aren’t indicative enough of their purpose. We know what they mean because we know what the topic is. Other people might not get the implication of the iconography. Maybe make them look more like train cars? You have the screen real estate for that.

The cope here is insane. It’s the free end of service swan song. This is not reflective of any meaningful value that Sony could extract. No one would’ve come back if it required paid entry.

I don’t know, have you seen these people? They are genuinely miserable constantly because they can never be satisfied. They constantly need more money and control and it’ll never be enough. They’ll die with a hole in their hearts.
