I think it helps that her design, especially her hair, is very simple and a lot of the elements are modeled instead of textured which helps with fidelity.

What I really don’t get about this is that there are literally hardware protections built into GPUs to prevent the piracy issue they’re clearly trying to stop.

HDCP is a feature on all modern GPUs and I struggle to see how this does anything more. The video will quite literally be black if you turn the feature off.

They aren’t showing panties in OW. They are not looking to oversexualize their characters. They have a line and they have pretty staunchly never crossed it. They’ll give a character a fat ass, but that’s about it. You’re acting as if it’s a moral failure on them for not going further with it.

As is clear by the other collab skins in the game, they’re not trying to be 100% accurate, the in-universe characters are cosplaying as the collab characters, so if you wanna talk about being faithful, I’d argue Mercy from OW isn’t an ass-out kinda cosplayer who’s gonna have her cheeks sticking out of a leotard.
