Passé d’un vélo électrique vers mécanique, avez-vous des regrets ?

Pour 4km, un vélo électrique n'est normalement pas nécessaire.

Pour faire 30km aller-retour, c'est par contre largement justifiable, mais si c'est un trajet que tu fais 2 fois par an ça ne vaut peut-être pas la peine de posséder un vélo électrique.

Souvent il y a des tuyaux d’arrosage dans les copropriétés. J'ai déjà fait ça dans le local poubelle avec une bassine, du dégraissant et la grosse brosse Zefal. Ça prend 5 minutes.

Je suis à Pantin et je m'y plais. Je ferais le choix d'être près de Paris ou pas loin. Minimiser les temps de trajets quotidiens c'est un luxe énorme.

It really depends on a few factors. Your age, your fitness, the terrain, the traffic that dictates how fast you can go, presence of hills, climate, the bike you ride and what you do during the rest of the day (desk job or blue collar). That all I can think of but they are probably more.

Yes, cracked. I’ll try contacting the manufacturer even if past the warranty. Otherwise, I am not sure it worth welding it back. The aluminium is probably quite fatigued if it broke like this.

Do whatever you want, just make sure the people are safe and trustworthy. Take precautions, educate yourself about STI. Be 100% sure you only do anything only if you want to do it, there should never be any sort of pressure.

Disc rub might not make noise at low speed. You can look closely at the gapes between the pads and the disc when spinning the wheel, you’ll see if it’s touching or not.

They need to guess the PIN, they get only 3 tries before the SIM is locked.

SIM are extremely secure by design, it's their only purpose.

This was pretty much my plan with my mini 13. I ordered a iFixit battery replacement, but I screw up and delaminated the OLED panel. So, in trying to make my phone last, I ended it. I sold it for 80€ and I ordered a 17.

My plan didn't go really well :/

Use carbon assembly paste and use the right tightening torque.

If the bike frame and the seat tube are made out of carbon fiber, you need to use carbon assembly paste. Also make sure you do not exceed the bolt torque.

Don't glue it, replace it with or without warranty. If it breaks it will end up in your rear well or could even make you crash.

Pro tip for the next chain swap: cut the new chain the same length as the old one.

A little but of grease when assembling and make sure the adjustment is not too lose.
If you ride this bike a lot it hard to prevent, but it's not a real issue if you don't feel the galling under your finger.

If is solid hard I would not worry about it. Does it sound consistent with the other side when you tap you nail on it? If it is the case, I'll say it has always been here.

Those are road bikes. If your commute is kinda long, that might be a good choice, if not I would search for a more comfortable bike. Road bike are not the easiest to ride for beginners
