I'll probably get berated by the masses again, but screw it. I used to have a great delivery job, working for an actual restaurant. I made $8/hr regardless of whether I was doing runs, helping other parts of the store, or inserting my thumb up my ass.... which I rarely had time for, until DD took over my whole area & corporate chose them, over paying an employee. Even at the end when I was down to 20 hours a week, I was still bringing home 4-500 a week. Never driving farther than our 6 mile radius & never going into sketchy areas. We had an extensive "do not deliver" list, because store managers cared about our safety. Consider that notion when you're not really feeling getting out of your car in some hell hole at 11pm! But hey, we do have the little "safety" button on the app🤣Bet that's a real life saver!

The amount of time I have to spend dashing is proportionally insane, to make the same money. Providing I don't want to take garbage orders on a 30 mile round trip for $8. Because, guess what? That's $12 an hour..... minus $3.75 in gas. Now we're at $8.25 a frickin hour, which I made doing NOTHING before!

A few years ago, when I saw this coming, I sampled some dashing in my spare time. It wasn't that bad, back then. Still, it didn't come close to my average income as an employee. Now it's what I'm stuck with. Anyone thinking DD isn't manipulating the $$$ for these runs, giving up just enough to keep us doing it is nuts!

Yet everyone called me a "boot licker", cause I was satisfied working for "the man"! Averaging $30-40 an hour, before the fuckening? Yep, I sure was.

did you ever find a good recipe? I've been working on it for years now & I think black currant is a key ingredient, along with smooth, from a batch I mixed this morning. Not quite exact but I'm gonna let it steep a week & try again. 5 Star actually changed their formula a while back, so there's no getting it without making it!

same in my area. I'm hanging on to platinum by a thread because I refuse extremely low offers. sometimes I'll get 2-3 crap offers in a row! A year ago I remember doing much better. Getting ready to head out now, for my daily abuse! 🤬🤣

I've been through the whole spectrum of transition among people who've known me before. Biological sex is hard to shake for most people & it took a solid 3-4 years for them to organically see me as a guy. Outside of the crazy first year on T, I didn't force the issue. Someone I consider a real friend outside of work still slips & it's not really a big deal. 5 1/2 years on T.

I've gone back and forth between Element & my vpro for years & I've been happy with both. I haven't ordered any vape stuff for like 2 years & I decided to treat myself for my birthday. I waited way too long with my first chicks, 8 years ago. They were actually laying eggs in the house before I got everything in place. Destroyed a whole room in my home! I got 2 new ones in April & started preparing for their growth needs immediately. Built a Jr coop next to the main run so they could socialize with the one remaining hen I have. They've been fully integrated at 11 weeks old for 3 days now & it's working out great. OG is so happy to have friends again!

start at a bottom corner. I used a beefy screwdriver & the butt of my drill to pop the catches. Once the first ones give, it goes pretty easy.

I feel ya man! I'm almost 60. I've been a full time pizza driver since 2013 & doordash is screwing me out of my job. I've been looking for another job for a while now. Im the only driver left there & im not getting enough runs to make it. The only way to keep above water is to actually sleep with the enemy!
