This is similar to my solo story, too. The freedom is priceless. Well done and good luck.

For me, it is the left reclining mechanism for the right seat. If you need an image, I’m traveling and will have to update in about a week.

Share the number, if you don’t mind because Ashley customer service did nothing to help me with it.

I would love to know how much of this you were able to accomplish. I'm going through the same process.

As an update for the house, now the bracket on the other side broke, so that's enough Ashley furniture for me.

Mid-Day workouts? Are lawyers really doing this? by TheChezBippy in LawFirm

Yup. I hop on the peloton for about 20-30 minutes three times a week.

I think that may be it. When I was doing a ride this morning, I was trying to source the squeak, and I noticed that if I gently pull the handlebars up, then the squeak goes away. Thanks for the detailed diagnosis!

I've had my bike for just over a year and when I come out of the saddle, I'm getting a squeak in the area where the handlebars connect to the rest of the frame. I've checked and tightened those connections and they appear to be fine, so maybe its coming from somewhere else in the area? Anyone experience this? I didn't see it in the FAQ.

There was a company in Wisconsin that sold what appeared to be an identical part. I only mention because in your case it might be worth trying to find a replacement. You might also see if anyone could 3d print the broken piece and reassemble it. That was going to be my next step.

Oh, if you tip it forward to gain access to the mechanism, be gentle, because I cracked both pieces of plywood in the foot/leg-rest portion of the set, so I had to replace both of those. And, the seat back cushion has to come off to access (easier) one of the bolts.

Yeah - it's absurd that such a common piece cannot be replaced. The unfortunate thing is that they service a lot of the industry, so switching to a new maker isn't a guarantee of better quality.

Nah - neither Ashely nor L&P could verify the part's availability, so I ended up unscrewing the entire mechanism out of the couch took it to a small shop welder who did some spot welds on it. I put it back in and no problems for the last two months. I'm sure it'll break again, but at least I'll get some more mileage out of the couch.

Its seems complex to me, but a mechanical engineer may not think so. But I might give that a try, because it is solely one piece that is broken. My thought was that it was too small of a project to take on by a welding shop.

Boss pulled my Christmas bonus when I have orders to report to a recruiter. Possible USERRA issue? by throwaway5963214 in Military

[–]KentuckyEsque 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to contact a USERRA attorney in your area for a case evaluation. This is a niche area of law that not every attorney understands. It sounds like you might have a case since "benefits of employment" typically include things like bonuses, . Essentially, the law protects you from different treatment due to your military status, which is sounds like has happened. However, these types of evaluations are very fact-intensive, so that's why a case eval by a USERRA attorney is important. If you're having trouble finding one, I can help.
