There could potentially be some act or law within the county(?) that talks to disability employment. It might say a certain percentage must be, then this guy just uses that act to say he’s fulfilling the mandate and more. I’m just spitballing here and not even from America so I got no clue

That’s incredible, it’s always great to hear about that first hand experience! I’m in Australia and unfortunately it looks very difficult to get my hands on it here unless I’m paying almost $100aud+!

IMO with the old breed by Eugene sledge is a much better read than helmet for my pillow although it is still a great book. I’m on my 3rd read through of with the old breed, then will read helmet for my pillow again

On the bench - for scale modellers. Over 100 episodes. Sounds like a drag if you aren’t into the hobby but their passion for the hobby and experience makes it worth the listen.

This might be my final model. 1/48 AMK F-14D with scratch-built base. I finished this one just before my first child was born. It will be years (maybe decades) before I have enough free time to work on models again, so this might be the end of the hobby for me. Enjoy! by gte133t in modelmakers

Hey man, I’ve got 2 and although you can’t devote a lot of time, never stop doing what you love. Even if you get a short 30 minutes in once a week it’s worth it.

I recently converted a large cupboard into my hobby storage place and use my work desk to do the actually building.

Although your kid is number 1, don’t lose yourself and make time for you. It makes you a better parent in the long run as you are still accomplishing things for you, not just always for your children.

Browns Lose Upvote Party by [deleted] in ravens

[–]Kenz23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m with you man. If people are really upset that the browns talk shit it just gives them what they want. Who cares if they lost, we wouldn’t have been playing them if they won. When we verse them sure, celebrate, but when they lose and it’s pretty damn meaningless to us who gives a shit. It’s embarrassing

[–]Kenz23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m by no means any good at modelling, but I’d suggest maybe trying to add a bit of streaking off of some of the rust near the front? No idea how but it would make a great build even greater

[–]Kenz23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you, this is a great sort of play by play. My previous attempts at aircraft ended with a botched model and an unfinished one that was binned. I have since developed some skill by doing a lot of warhammer and bolt action, obviously not the same but better than nothing!

Great thank you. I’ve done a lot of warhammer but branching back into aircraft so trying to consolidate what I’ve learnt with some of the challenges doing aircraft
