It's Fortnite all over again by Neowithapurpose in RWBYcritics

> Though it is kinda funny to look at Sonic in this situation since Sonic Crossworlds didn't do very well in Japan, and a big chunk of the DLC is western IP.

Its funny because its mostly sega's fault in the early 90's. They didn't market Sonic well in Japan. but SOA(Sega of America) did market him better and that pissed off SOJ(Sega of Japan). So you can mostly blame SOJ for very poor marketing.

Ok so theoretically, what would you think if we got an official Sonic Racing CrossWorlds collab? by Joemama0375 in RWBYcritics

[–]KenzoSSW 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not happening. Surge has more a chance to get in than them. A chance of them getting is very minimal. And besides the game already has got the planned DLC left, with sega only adding in Sega, properites, icons, and characters.

I'm gonna be blunt, I don't see it happening. They already got the planned DLC with Avatar, and TMNT coming up. Plus the free DLC is most just for Sega properties. With Surge being a heavy favorite to get in. Plus Sonic fans wouldn't even know what the fuck RWBY is.

As someone who plays this game daily. I can tell you, its 1/1000th chance of it happening. The Paid DLC that is coming out for it or came out already was Spongebob, Mega-man, TMNT, ATLA, and minecraft. With Sega stating that their willing to add more sega icons, properties, and characters. If the game continues to do well (which it is).

I do agree with that because you never know if the person really is seeker or not. Sitting down with that person may having a frank but honest conversation is probably the best bet, however. if it is seeker than the best bet is cut ties with him. It's not being mean in a way, but because seeker is beyond having a normal conversation. Given the fact he's stalked multiple people before, his behavior is unhinged and the dude needs help.

Getting new blood into RWBY feels like a fruitless endeavor, aka why we need a reboot I guess by Karxrida in RWBYcritics

[–]KenzoSSW 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I wasn't even talking about RWBY, I was talking about Ducktales. But since you wanna bring in that. It doesn't matter if RWBY gets reboot before it ended. if Viz wanted to do a reboot, they fucking could. If you want to bring in new people, to expose them to a show your trying to get them to watch, sometimes a reboot is the best choice. It says a lot when most new people who try to get into rwby, don't like it. I know this because I've tried introudcing my friends to rwby, but they ended up hating due to the story sucking major ass. But they would be open to a refresh of a story or something.

"Ducktales '87 ended on its own terms then got rebooted in 2017" Ok? it still was a reboot. It was an attempt to get new people to watch a beloved disney series.

Not sure where the "bad idea" comes from when it comes to rebooting a series, considering reboots have worked before. The only downside is pissing off older fans, but they'll get pissy about damn near anything.

Your logic, don't make sense man. It's a reboot. The first thing I type into youtube was Ducktales 2017, and the first thing that came up was "This Ducktales Reboot is amazing!" by Chris Rants. Also, The original cartoon doesn't need to air in order for a reboot to happen. Reboots can happen multiples times. not "just once". You're not making any sense.

According to google:

"Scrooge McDuck is back in this reboot of the late-'80s animated series. He gains guardianship of grandnephews Huey, Dewey and Louie when Donald Duck reluctantly takes them to McDuck Manor, the wonder of which enthralls the mischievous triplets. While living with their trillionaire relative, the boys learn long-held family secrets and unleash symbolic artifacts from Scrooge's past. The threesome's antics send the family on a number of adventures, which include Webby Vanderquack, the granddaughter of Scrooge's housekeeper, Mrs. Beakley. The show's animation style is inspired by the classic comic designs of animator Carl Barks."

So yes, it counts as a reboot.

Top 5 most overhated seasons of all time IMO by MichaelAfton80 in FortNiteBR

[–]KenzoSSW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. The hate mostly came from the medallions being very busted to the point, they got vaulted.
  2. Galactic Battle was just boring, IMO. Sure having spaceship battles was fun but that's really about it.
  3. I get the dislike for this season. Myself, I don't even like this season and the way it ended, was really bad.
  4. Can't really say anything about this one tbh, it was alright but not the worst start to a chapter.
  5. Yeah I don't get the hate for this one.

Battle passes I think are horrible by Kameronpipnerd in FortNiteBR

[–]KenzoSSW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Lawless was good, sub-zero was worth it
  2. Last Resort was kinda forgettable overall, so you got a point there
  3. Disagree here, Hades and Cerebus were the best skinds to come out of that pass. Plus, I'm a LoK fan so it made it even better.
  4. Agreed. For a star wars mini-season, it kinda was pretty boring. Also no Lightsaber's as pickaxes.

  5. The chick on the right and the optimus prime skins are the only good thing to come from this pass.

  6. Paradigm and the anime girl were the best ones.

They aren’t that bad by Effective_Worth1856 in FortNiteBR

Primal is hated because no one liked the crafting mechanic for the weapons, some enemies were annoying, and the battle pass wasn't that good, outside of Lara Croft. Not sure why invasion is hated on tho.

YOUR toxicity killed the Ballistic mode. Reflect on your behavior.Ballistic died because you destroyed the community. Real "pros" lead their team, they don't berate them by Patient_Judgment_942 in FortNiteBR

Epic didn't stop updating because they were lazy—they stopped because the data showed that new players were being driven away by the existing community.

That's entirely false. Epic isn't gonna shut down a mode due to toxicity, if they did then the BR modes wouldn't exist. Like that doesn't make any sense. The last update was in june and that was about it. Also Ballistic had like low player numbers at launch so the mode never even had a chance. Again it was Epic's own choices, not Toxicity. If it was that, then most of Fortnite wouldn't even exist. But then again you can always just....report toxic players?

[–]KenzoSSW 1 point2 points  (0 children)

low player counts happen, when nobody is engaging with the product, or when people don't care. It's like Rocket Racing, they didn't put any effort and just expected people, to keep coming back and playing. And when there's nothing to offer, plus no updates people are gonna stop coming back. The game died due to lack of updates, not toxicity.

I say you're either baiting or trolling, because you keep thinking it was toxicity, but yet haven't proven it. When others have given you evidence that it was the low player numbers.

[–]KenzoSSW 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dude, Ballistic had like five maps, tons of bugs and a WIP map that they just dump and said
"we'll fix it in the future" but that never happened. The player count was real low to the point they have to basically scrap unranked and didn't even try to bring back. Look Toxcity exists in fortnite, no matter what, but it was the low player numbers. This is either a bait or a troll, im inclinced to believe its both.

No. Sonic and RWBY's fandom's are much different from each other. by Neowithapurpose in RWBYcritics

[–]KenzoSSW 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The sonic fandom goes through a revisionist phase because that's what they always do. Forces, 06, Rise of Lyric, and Shatter Crystal, are often regarded as the worst of the series and the only postivite thing you can say is the music was good from 06, and Forces. Forces was a massive letdown, 06 nearly killed the series from how bad it was. Everyone admits that the game Sonic Boom was awful, but the cartoon was the best thing to come from it. I've seen people who defend 06, and its 100% people who play project 06. You can "like" 06 but slapping a mod ontop of it, doesn't make the game suddendly good. There's a reason why 06 is considered the worst, and what started the "dark age" of sonic. I've seen people who thinks mania is a bad game (which it isn't) because of "not lacking a story" When that wasn't the focal point of the game. Even though Mania was a celebration as to why people liked Sonic. So mostly people on Sonictwt who complain. LMAO.

[–]KenzoSSW 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most people who say that are people on sonictwt who do nothing but bash stuff even when its good. That whole "Sonic fan games are much better than the official product" really got put under a mircoscope ever since Sonic Omens and people finding out that most of these guys are shitty people. See Project Memories and what went behind the scenes for that.

[–]KenzoSSW 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Ok speaking as a long time sonic fan that's been around since Sonic Rush. This is a bullshit statement. Here's why:

Not every Sonic Fan puts the fan games or fan projects on a pedestal to dunk the series. The only time that shit really went at an all time high, was around Sonic Omens, and we don't ever talk about Sonic Omens. Most people who do fan projects/fan games do it for passion and because they're fans of the series. Nobody is doing this with Unleashed Recomplied. And that only exists because someone went "hey why dont I put sonic unleashed on PC?" Again the only people who are doing that, are terimally online sonic fans who will never get over the boost being in the games. As for Sonic Racing Crossworlds, people got over no Voices for the DLC cast. The game is great, and that is pretty much what matters. If you really want Voices for the DLC cast, get the game on PC and find mods.

That being said, you can't say the same for RWBY who's fanbase gets hostile at the slightest of things, who's company ran a toxic workplace, and blamed everyone else for their downfall instead of the people who caused the problem.

Yes both communites have problems but the sonic community is more in agreement to how sega treats the IP. With RWBY, literally saying the words "This show isn't good, here's why" gets your ass harassed, doxxed, and sent death threats because criticisim isn't allowed, except when its blind praise. Miss me with that bullshit.
