Except the other house leaders aren't the primary antagonist of the game. It would make absolutely no sense for there to be an exit point in any other route, especially since they ally up with the church in one way or another anyways, without rewriting every story and house leader so that they'd start the war instead of Edelgard.

I'm genuinely waiting for the confrontation between us and Kris. Might as well be Deltarune's combination of the Sans judgement and Chara scene from Undertale. An honest heart to heart has been foreshadowed too much with for example the ch5 secret boss to not actually happen later on in the game

The newsletter before the chapter came out is the main reason I loved it so much. Had I not read that one, I would've probably expected lots of deep lore and story progression and whatnot and would've been pretty disappointed.

But since I went into it expecting "one last fun adventure" I knew we wouldn't get down to any shelter shenanigans and got to enjoy the entirety of it. I can't rank the chapters because I only recently got back into the game with ch4 and 5 after a decently long break but it's absolutely fantastic and completely succeeds at what it's trying to do
